The Kohler Purist and their Kathyrn shower receptors - both cast iron and porcelain like a good old-fashioned tub - are 36" x 48" and that probably makes for a comfortable shower for most people. The 30" dimension shower would be far more uncomfortable for me, as I am a big person. Those extra couple of inches (51 - 48 = 3) would make your linen pull outs that much more usable. Big towels would probably have to be rolled, but the linen closet would be so worth it! A six foot long vanity absolutely has room for dual sinks - we have them in a five foot long vanity here - but if you are not sure you want them, then why the long vanity? Are you going to make a place to sit and do your hair and make-up? Or do you simply want the cabinet space? If it is the cabinets you want, then make a tall cabinet in part of that space and do a 4 ft vanity and a 2 ft linen closet. Do drawers in the base cabinet of the linen cabinet over by the toilet so that you don't have to worry about opening cabinet doors there. Then you can have a robe and towel hanging space at the end of the shower, instead of a narrow linen closet. The four-foot long vanity space could have a trough sink in it, that would actually allow room for two people to use the sink if needed. Again, look to Europe for space-saving measures. The space between the faucets is roughly 22" "

I'm not familiar with Delux as it's not sold in my area. Dove Wing is another very pretty color and is a counterpart of White Dove. Dove Wing falls under a warm off white, and the darkest out of this selection of whites. Dove Wing is still an overall light color and a great white to use on the walls. The gray tones make for a softer shade, while the touch of yellow makes it warm and an inviting hue of white. White is tricky and you really need to sample your favorite few and check them day to night, lights on and lights off. I'll try not to exhaust you with more BM colors, but Dune White another go to by BM looks similar to Pegasus to me. You might want to google them and see the above colors on image search in some rooms with similar colors. The colors you are showing look nice with the vanity top. The one on the left I do favor vs. the one on the right which appears a pinch too creamy from my monitor. I don't think you want to match the color perfectly to the vanity top and the right card which I believe reads, "Commercial White" is less interesting and a pinch too yellow IMO. You might take a look at some of the colors mentioned if you are not a stickler for using on the brand you are showing Delux.

What does your contract say about final payment? I've always assumed that once I pay in full It means that the project is complete to my satisfaction. It is important to have some financial leverage at the end of job to help motivate the contractor. In this case, since you paid in full, hopefully your contract provides the leverage you need to get the contractor back to take care of the work not completed to your satisfaction.

Okay, so we do know the problem. The trim was probably painted with a glossier finish than the walls, so the walls won't feel as stark when you use a less glossy finish. You may be able to push it just a bit darker and still stay in the white range and not anger the flooring or the shower. We could also try to work our way away from the pink of Balboa Mist toward the more neutral gray/beige mixes without going green. Do you have extra pieces of the flooring tile and the shower tile? It would be great if you do. I would ask you to go to Benjamin Moore and just pick up the paper swatches for the moment. I want you to get 2 of each of the colors listed below. Take your two tiles and all your swatches outside in mid afternoon sunlight. Then take a pair of the paper swatches and place the swatch on each of the two tiles. Start with Balboa Mist so you can get a feel for the level of pink it shows in your bathroom compared to outside. Now take one more set and place it on the tiles. Some will look better with the flooring and some will look better with the shower, but I am thinking one will be somewhere between the two and work with both. The numbers on the chart show that all of these colors are similar in lightness. (L) The C stands for Chroma, how colorful or gray the color is. Here we are going from classic gray which is pretty darn gray up to grayish beiges. Nothing that would actually fall into the beige range. The H stands for Hue - The lower the number in this lightness and chroma in this hue range the more likely we are to see pink/purple undertones while the higher numbers can go more green undertones. If you don't have any leftover tiles you will need to do it in the bathroom, but it is amazing how natural daylight lets us see the undertones and how the colors work together. Here is an example where I had to work with three different undertones and find a color that worked with all three. The two tiles really looked very much the same inside the home, but outside you could really see the pink undertones of the kitchen and living room tiles in comparison to the family room tiles.
