Old home; new front door; need storm door ideas
Comments (4)I am thankful for any and all suggestions! I appreciate all views. The new door is an insulated steel door by Waudena, out of Wisconsin. I do open the casements windows on either side of the front window, but if the door is open I can see my Purple Martin colony and part of the garden from the kitchen. Still, in the brief but bright summer, I'd love to have a "view."...See MoreAdding a front porch/ fixing hidden front door
Comments (11)hmmm i agree on the idea of using what you have with those diagonal posts. one thing i think we all need to see is how the house would look like without the landscape covering up the front as it is hard to tell when we only have the 1 photo , if you do decide to remove the landscape it would give us all a better picture of how the facade would look and what may compliment it....See MoreHelp with hidden front door and curb appeal! Comments (3)While they are different pictures, they are not better pictures. You've also got to take them when an important part of the house is not in deep shade. (The entrance and foundation area look like a black shadow.) And the camera is too far away. It should be on the city sidewalk. It should be at the left side of the drive. It must stay at the same position for all three pictures (merely pivoting.) First and last picture should capture the front left and right corners of the yard....See MoreLandscaping ideas for front door hidden from street
