Comments (23)Nicole, I know you love the hummingbirds. Your pictures of them are stunning. I love when you post them!! Lgmd, great picture of the hummingbird's nest and the eggs!!! I have never been able to find a hummingbird's nest. I usually have only two or three who come to my feeder. I don't think we have the natural flowers in numbers that would sustain the hummingbirds in any kind of numbers. A nest built on a windchime? Amazing!! :)...See More

6 years agoHerd....my "herd", made with they were evacuated following Hurricane Harvey. This was before Rita, Shadow, Emery, Snoop, and Primo.
Left to right, Sabrina. The black mule, Gypsy, white mare, Mariah, Val, Bane, and Amos, the donkey. Sadly, Amos had to be put down a few months ago.

6 years agoI just took this picture about an hour ago. This is the hawk that thinks it owns our yard. It is why we can't use our own backyard. It wants to eat Mia!
It's sitting on the edge of the sunroom roof watching over the backyard! Not a creature was stirring. I don't know where all the squirrels disappeared to.

The statues were at the Horse Park in Lexington for the World Equestrian Games in 2010. We saw the Reining Event.
