Few flowers here in the woods but we did wake up to Mama bear in the front yard. Her 2 cubs had scurried off when we opened the door.

Don't know what kind of bee this is. It doesn't look like a honey bee to me. The rose is Royal Wedding.

Salvia clevelandii, native to California. I wish you could smell it!

sealavender, great plant....but only at a distance. I love their flowers, but am among those that think they stink. I believe it is a yes-or-no-cilantro type of thing, but for the nose.
