Wow, thanks for sharing this information. I've never been patient enough to be able to sit down and work a jigsaw puzzle. Maybe I will with an on-line one!

Just click the icon in the upper-right corner of the puzzle board - this will open the preview of the completed puzzle.

I'll do one or two in the evenings, nothing too time consuming - to relax. And somehow usually wildlife subjects.

I do them once in a while and really like this site... I think the quality of the photos is wonderful here and you can also upload your own photos to make puzzles. The difficulty level can be changed by choosing more pieces and I like the shape of the pieces here - more like hands-on puzzles to me. You also can leave and go back later and it will have saved your puzzle for you (no sign-in needed).

I use the same site as Olychick. I do a couple most evenings, they're pretty quick.

We are currently living in my in-laws' house while they're gone for the winter. They usually have a puzzle going on the dining room table. I've done two since we've been here, there are probably 50 more in the closet!

If you enjoy doing Jigsaw puzzles, then you might like an app I found several years ago called Jigsaw Puzzle Box by SparkleApps. As far as I know, it’s still a free download with in app purchases. Of course they want you to buy their pictures but there’s also an option to create your own puzzles using your own pictures. I love the music it plays too. There’s 3 or 4 different choices and the one I listen to is so relaxing. Definitely one of the better (if not the best) jigsaw apps available.

Sephia, my patience for doing jigsaw puzzles wore out years ago. Fourty-something years ago, I had a friend who did them all the time, so I decided to try it, too. At the time, we lived in a mobile home, (a large one) and had 5 young boys. You can imagine how that worked out! But yes, I know how to view the puzzle picture while working on it. But that option does not work on the "Mystery Puzzle". It remains truly a mystery until you figure it out.

I use a couple of apps on my iPad - Jigsaw and Magic Jigsaw. You can change the shape of the pieces, the background color, the number of pieces and the ability to rotate. Each app is free with in app purchases if you choose to. Each has a large variety of free puzzles. I do a few each day.

In case you have not discovered, this site uses entries in your browser's history file to keep track of images that you have completed. When a puzzle has been completed, a sash is placed across a corner of its thumbnail and a file identifier placed in your history file. After a month of browsing, your history file can get loaded. If you run a computer 'cleaner', it may delete these entries. To avoid this loss, yet clean out your history file, manually clear entries in your history file.

I love doing online jigsaw puzzles. When I watch tv at night I am always working on a puzzle. I love the site Jigidi because you can pick the size of your puzzle, and if you are signed in you can save where you left off. I have tried other jigsaw puzzle sites and like this one the best. Cherryfizz, I checked out your link, briefly. I'm curious how a 400 piece puzzle can be handled on a PC monitor. But when I clicked on one, it tells me that Adobe Flash player is disabled. I'll investigate farther later today.

Honestly, I'm spending wa-a-a-a-a-a-ay too much time on these puzzles! Hopefully the fascination with the 'newness' of them will wear off soon! :^)
