Next year, we vacation in winter
Comments (1)No no vacation doesnt have to be bad! Well if you are flying it would be.. Hubby doesnt fly sooo we drive. We drive to Taos New Mexcio at least once a year (haha 3 or 4 if I get my way!) and I have scoped out what seasons we need to be there to get the roasted green chiles, peaches, etc. I get my pinion nuts too while there. My father in law is another nut like me that get HUGE box of roasted green chiles and wraps it in plastic and straps it to the roof of his car to bring it home and spends days peeling and packaging them for the freezer to last him until the next trip or season. Ok so the gist of my babbling.... scope out your vacation spot for things that arent as easy to get at home. Make sure to leave room (or make room....) to bring it home....See Moreyou guys can be proud
Comments (23)Hopeless, huh? Oh,well, may as well dive right in! Do I qualify for a 12-step program yet, can I have the cuttings anyway? Today I went to Lowes as promised and a nice wayetti is hanging next to my previous weaknesses now (they did tag it kentiana and it does have a darker margin. You guys are good!) Now, the guy at Lowes was very nice and asked if I was looking for a particular kind of Hoya, since he can try and order it for me. Can you tell me what I absolutely have to have? I assume he was talking about Exotic Angels. So, out of australis, fishtail, marlea, picta, shamapry, stripes, bilobata, green wax, linearis, regalis, rubra, shooting stars, and sulawesii, which ones can't I live without? Many thanks again for all your help! Grow...See MoreNew with a question about how to treat these windows
Comments (11)Les, I don't think my husband would like it very much if I stained the stone. It would be beautiful, but I think for now it willl have to remain as it is...plus, I used a flash, so that made it look whiter. I also like the idea of panels all the way to the top, but I really want to cover the white blinds somehow. I really love the look of the roman shades but they are $$$. Do you think I could achieve the same look with sheers underneath the panel? I'm on the lookout for wood hardware, too. First I need to finish painting my bedroom olive branch. Only one project at a time or I get frusturated. ;) pmartin- I'll try and post more later. I have some, but I need to get my girls down for a nap!...See MoreI think I have a garden addiction
