I just can't decide which one I like best, vote.
Comments (19)Well Ta Daaaaaaaaaa!!! Last Snowflake wins by a landslide. I figured it would since it just has to be my most favorite in the garden. Thanks for your votes, this was fun. Last Snowflake has to be my favorite Stamile daylily so far. I love all the early blooming daylilies and the eyed ones, but somehow this one just tugs at my heartstrings. If you don't have it, get it, it will not let you down. Ann had to get it last year after I raved about it, but I don't think hers has bloomed yet. Mary, I just cannot give Fringy away, it was too expensive, I know you were joking. I do have very many seed pods from Fringy, I put its pollen on anything fancy. Ann and I are working on a trade this fall, she is sending me a Talledaga fan for a Fringy fan. Dot...See MoreCan't decide which color range would work best. Need Advice
Comments (3)You know I've got the Monogram oven and the Advantium oven and ordered a stainless dishwasher at the same time. When the dishwasher was installed I decided that stainless was too hard to clean and just doesn't look that great in my kitchen (atlhough I have oak cabinets and not white). I ended up buying a black panel for it and then a Jenn Air black french door fridge that has the same stainless handles as the Monogram. My cooktop however is stainless. I think it will all go together just fine although the cooktop isn't in yet. For me the ovens make it possible to go either way since there's so much black. I'd say go with what you like best visually and you'll be fine. Britt...See MoreCan't decide which is best....will you vote??
Comments (9)I keep a small cabinet pantry (one of those cheap laminate type at Lowes) in our laudry room, where I store cans, pasta, rice, some snacks, and some baking supplies. I store extra or large items in our unfinished basement on shelves. The little pantry in our kitchen now has cereal, oils, crackers, PB&J, honey, flour, sugar...the more common every day items. I will usually have to make a couple trips to our laundry room while cooking, but it isn't too far, although more pantry would be convenient. I do think I will get more storage with the penninsula, but I like the look of the island and getting helpers from both sides. My biggest concern with the island (besides storage) is the island being a barrier and the awkward corner on the fridge wall. I will map out my storage and see if that helps...thanks....See Morewhich granite would you choose? (so tired of decisions)
Comments (17)Oh gosh. Yes, I am sick of choosing stuff :-) And I haven't seen a granite I just "love". Maybe I'm just not meant to find the granite love of my life (heck, I'm lucky to have the human one!). Now, I have seen some granites I'd love to have on the island, but when it comes to an all-over choice, I don't want to use them everywhere (too busy and light). I've toyed with a dark perimeter--but don't want Absolute Black--and an accent island. I've pretty much given up that idea. Hubby wants input on the granite choice but has entered his busiest time of the year at work and won't be able to go look at granites again. I need to choose next week since the cabs are going in on Monday and we're trying to meet the June 30 deadline for the tax credit. Thanks for the suggestions and the pics! What I've not done is seen these granites side-by-side, but will do so on Monday. I have seen a kitchen done in Emerald Pearl, which is where I first "found" it. The cabs are the same as mine and their wall color looks to be Blonde, also. So, to me, that was a safe choice since I've seen it done and liked it. Maybe it wasn't love at first sight, but I think we could have a long and comfortable relationship together. Thanks!...See MoreJennifer K
