Can't decide which color range would work best. Need Advice

We are remodeling the kitchen in an 1873 Victorian home. Will have white cabinetry and marble countertops. Refrigerator and dishwasher will be fully integrated with panels matching cabinetry.

Originally I was going to go with the La Cornue Albertine stove in black because I thought it would blend well with the old house but once I saw in person I was disappointed in the look and feel and the oven rack only 12.5" deep.

I have now decided to go with the Bluestar 36" RNB 6 burner range but can't decide if I should go with black or stainless. Originally I felt stainless was too industrial/modern and black would look more timeless. Now I'm torn because my wall oven (GE Monogram ZET1PMSS) and the GE Advantium I'm planning to do above will both be stainless.

Do you think the range and wall ovens should match and all be stainless? If any of you have ranges in color with other appliances in stainless can you post images/thoughts?

You know I've got the Monogram oven and the Advantium oven and ordered a stainless dishwasher at the same time. When the dishwasher was installed I decided that stainless was too hard to clean and just doesn't look that great in my kitchen (atlhough I have oak cabinets and not white). I ended up buying a black panel for it and then a Jenn Air black french door fridge that has the same stainless handles as the Monogram. My cooktop however is stainless. I think it will all go together just fine although the cooktop isn't in yet. For me the ovens make it possible to go either way since there's so much black. I'd say go with what you like best visually and you'll be fine.

Personally, I would go with stainless since you have other stainless appliances.

Well Ta Daaaaaaaaaa!!! Last Snowflake wins by a landslide. I figured it would since it just has to be my most favorite in the garden. Thanks for your votes, this was fun. Last Snowflake has to be my favorite Stamile daylily so far. I love all the early blooming daylilies and the eyed ones, but somehow this one just tugs at my heartstrings. If you don't have it, get it, it will not let you down. Ann had to get it last year after I raved about it, but I don't think hers has bloomed yet. Mary, I just cannot give Fringy away, it was too expensive, I know you were joking. I do have very many seed pods from Fringy, I put its pollen on anything fancy. Your right..I checked my bid and the ruud is a 80% 2 stage variable speed blower furnace. With "N" style coil. Humidifier New touch screen thermostat, out door pad, whip, disconnect box. 8,222 As for the xr15...here is what was at the bottom of my bid sheet....Install..XR15, model #4TWR5042 for an additional $900.00*Not necessarily the best decision because the rating is still only 14.0 seer. So, could I replace the heat pump and not the furnace? I think I get caught up in the sales hype. The "N" coil and humidifier sounded good at the time. Also, the salesman said lenox does not match up with anything else so will the furnace work with the trane? Also..I don't think I will get the tax credit with the trane but at a price difference of 4600 it wouldn't matter. Thanks for giving me advice, Dawn

Have you consider FLOR carpet tiles? Then you can get something lighter that contrasts with your floors but easy to clean if something spills. Are the colors blue and tan (hard to tell on my monitor)

Thank you @charles kidder I have a lot of dappled shade all over my property. I appreciate the recommendations and will look for that variety on my next garden center trip to try. So far my new collection includes, some ruby slippers, a Pee wee oak leaf, a climbing hydrangea, an unknown variety of oak leaf I got as a gift from a nice neighbor, Bloom struck and the Bobos I originally bought for the pine tree project. Hopefully I will learn to be a hydrangea gardener without too many casualties.

If I were making this decision, I'd go with SS if I chose the Bluestar. But I'd rather have a Lacanche or an Aga in black! (It's so much fun to spend other people's money!) ;o) Do either one of those appeal to you?
