Need help with bark selection for trampoline area *picture*
Comments (2)I don't have any input to the overall idea, but some of the details I have comments on. Good call removing the bender board. It's supposed to be installed almost fully buried, so this is a truly unappealing look. For stepping stones to be functional, they need to be regular, not random. If they have gaps between them, make it the same. I'd use uncolored bark mulch and not worry about the color. Who knows what chemicals are involved in the dye or what it might be covering up such as ground up construction debris. This is an area where your kids will be, so I would imagine you'd just as soon not have unnecessary chemicals. Dyed and undyed mulch will fade, so the original color isn't too important. This is a play area with a bright blue-edged trampoline, so the mulch colors will fade into the background....See MoreHelp with selecting area rug for covered porch
Comments (14)Your floor is beautiful. Do you really need to cover it with a rug? Do you have window coverings? Do the Windows open? Is there a door to the outside? What is the purpose of the room, and how often do/will you use it? It looks like a lovely, simple room to enjoy sort of being outdoors. I have a sun room, too. It's a lovely place especially in the mornings and evenings. Mine is not heated, but spring, summer and fall we enjoy being in the room. No rug, (and my floor is just painted concrete so not beautiful like yours. Nice, though.) just a couch like yours, a small table and chairs for two, reading lamps, and lots of plants. Keep it simple....See MoreNeed help in rug selection
Comments (30)Thanks JudyG and Kurln:) Judy thanks so much for the info but unfortunately I cant take Motrin or anything with aspirin in it..I have been on blood thinners for 30 years! That’s another story:))) I did buy these amazing socks that you put in the freezer and than slide on your foot...it works so good..cold on top of foot and bottom..so it really hits the right spot..I broke the 5th metatarsal bone..and fractured the 4th one....the 5th is hardest one to heal very little blood flow that is why they needed to add a screw...everyone has been so thoughtful here on Houzz!...See MoreHelp Selecting An Area Rug
Comments (3)I'm wondering why you think you need an area rug? If you add a rug under the desk the chair will no longer roll. I would not draw any more attention to that spot. Really there is no other place to locate the desk. The picture behind the sofa is mounted way too high and the lovely multiple images assembly is lost on that small wall, plus the drapery panels need to be placed at the outside of the slider. Not sure why you selected blue. I selected a green and the draperies need to be taller to take advantage of the tall ceiling height....See MoreSammy
