Comments (6)BTW, my computer is an HP h8-1120 2.00 running 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium. I ran Super Antispyware and Microsoft Security Essentials and Malware Bytes and no threats showed up. I turned the computer off for 4 hours; rebooted; and still have the same issue....See MoreI'm having a problem with an email.........
Comments (6)Hi, I've tried going on-line to Earthlink through Internet Explorer and getting rid of it there but it doesn't show up in my in-box there.. I tried right clicking and it just freezes up the email program. It seem the second I right click or left click on it it freezes up so I can't drag it or hilight it either. There is no attachment with it and the subject line reads: "ONE SNEEZE AND IT'S SCR............" That's all that'll fit on the line so I don't know what the rest of the subject line says. Yes we are using the program with Earthlink but I'm not sure if we are using it through Outlook Express or Outlook. Sorry I can't answer that question for you. Thank you so much for trying to help. Comments (12)@ bob414: Thank you very much! @ randy ca: Thank you very much! Now I must find out what this is called in German because as you might have noticed I live in Germany and I use German language Word. @ cboy: What you see above in bob414's post is saved as a Word document, not as a template. You can see the name of the file in the title bar. This is a real difficult problem. I posted it in several Microsoft Word help forums worldwide. Nobody has found a solution yet. It is not easy - otherwise I would have found out myself since I am quite experienced with Word. I wonder if the problem could be solved with the "Normal.dot" file....See Moreemail link problems
Comments (5)Mailto: links typically don't work with web-based mail services. They're intended to open the "real" mail client program local on the user's computer (i.e. Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, etc.). That being said, recent versions of Firefox bring up a dialog offering a choice of the default mail client program, Yahoo, or GMail. I checked IE11, it doesn't do that, only offers Thunderbird (my e-mail program of choice for many years) ... so I assume you're using IE....See MoreUser
