What color tile & carpet goes with gold paint?
Comments (5)I chose a slate looking tile that has dark grey, terra cotta red, and touches of gold in it. There were a lot of more golden tiles but I opted for more contrast. In my back entry I have a brown tile. I think as long as you stay in the warm tones of browns, reds, golds, etc. it will blend well with gold walls. Think warm colors/tones rather than cool. I've posted my entry a million times but here it is again for an example of tile color with gold walls. (Mine are Plantation Beige)...See MoreWhat neutral paint colour goes with grey?
Comments (5)I might paint the kitchen, but, it looks fine in the living room, and it also looks like your couch and rugs etc are all chosen to go with the gray. If you repaint, you may have a lot of things, that will no longer look good. A color to go with your kitchen cabinets, is something in the blues, or greens or aqua shades (light colors) Your counters and back splashes, dont really go with the gray walls in the kitchen, however, the blues, greens or aqua shades will go well with everything in your kitchen, except maybe the bar stools....See Morewhat goes with weathely gray tile and beige walls with oak cabnets

Comments (7)diff shades mean a mis-mash of color. Check your lighting in there. the higher the bulk temp (Kelvin) the bluer the light. for bathroom 3500-4000K should be fine. any lower and you get yellow. higher, you get blue tones. The wall color has to go. your gray and brown floor and shower tiles are in the warm category. your wall color is in the cool category. Your tiles are a brown based gray. your vanity is a lavender based gray. Can you paint it? get a new one? the Smoke or the whites on the walls. paint the vanity. you could even do the white on the vanity and paint the walls the dark charcoal. just depends what you want i covered the minty green walls with a very soft white/gray tone, and imposed two color vanities over yours. one in white, one w/Smoke Embers, just so you can see the diff you could choose to do a creamier white like your shower curtain or tub color, if you like. any of these would work for the vanity, or the wall color stay away from lavender based grays Even this darker Chelsea gray would look nice on the vanity. Or, paint the walls the same color as your shower curtain. (or paint the vanity that white and use one of these for the walls) hang some art in the space over the toilet. if you want creamier, more yellow tones, (which will still work w/the tile) you can try some of these...See Morefsg89
