Laundry room design help
Comments (10)For a laundry room, I'd like the above large floral wallpaper! You say you can't spend much on wallpaper ... have you ever tried stenciling? I personally love it, and it's so much cheaper than wallpaper. It takes FOREVER to do the painting, but it's not at all difficult. The big secret is wiping away most of the paint from the brush. Comments (6)It looks like the best thing is to start with a new 3 seat sofa. Since you have the TV above the mantle, we assume you want your seating positioned that way. Then you will want two chairs to go on the wall directly across from the slider. You also may like a rug? Below you can get a lot of great ideas from designs of ours. Note the furniture, rugs, end tables, pillows, lamps, artwork, window treatments, coffee tables, and various other decor accessories....See MoreHelp! need to design/decorate this room
Comments (3)Add some art or landscape to your room to give your space a more refreshing look and throw pillows on your sofa. You also need a rug to anchor your space; put the rug under the sofa and table to make the room more elevating! The rug will help to make your room nicer and warmer! Also, change the color of your drapes behind the sofa with some contrasting color for a more enhancing look. I will also recommend adding some books or other art pieces in the cupboards beside your fireplace just like this: Put on some vase or some tray you love onto your table!...See MorePlease help me decorate my laundry room
Comments (11)@ffpalms so funny that you posted this. I have actually considered painting the beadboard dark like that. All our the doors and windows in our house are painted the dark brown/bronze color you see in the first photo (you can see part of the laudry door). With the ceilings being 9 feet and the beadboard going up to six feet, do you think it would be too dark to do this? I suppose I could reduce the height of the beadboard but I do like when it's tall. What do you think? Thanks so much for your thoughts!!...See MoreShadyWillowFarm
