Do a chrome/glass coffee table and a modern style rug. Do some industrial kind of bar stools.

It's gorgeous. You'll have to carefully remove crystals for transportation, most likely. Then you'll see how it looks without, and which ones you'd add back. You'll get a better feel for it. I, personally, wouldn't change it more than that, or maybe at all-my tastes are eclectic, and I have elaborate crystal and Murano things happily coexisting with some MCM lights. It depends on overall aesthetic and the house itself. You need to find some common language they speak in order to do it, that's true. Please don't paint-it's great quality finish. I feel in this case, will cheapen it. If it was something simpler like tole..but it's not. Always best to see the space it'll be going in for better advice.

If mine, I think I'd wait to hang it until I have any other pieces on hand. You'd mentioned stool, TP holder (and there are certainly some pretty ones available these days). You'll know what's most pleasing to the eye when you could see them together and how balanced it would feel in which position. I know, it's hard to wait when these projects are nearing their end. If you can't wait I might try centered, it would just be one picture hanging hole in that pretty wall that would be hidden behind the art if you did want to change it ;0)

I wanted to weigh in on this topic, because i just replaced three hybrid teas — sp’d them out of the ground— to make way for one tea rose, Lady Hillingdon. The departed were: Chcago Peace, wonderful, huge, fragrant blooms, but subject to chili thrips, too tall, and thorny beyond all reasonable expectations. i enjoyed it for 6-7 years. Time to move on. Also Love and Peace, subject to the same problems as Chicago but smaller, scrawnier, not a frequent bloomer. Finally, Winter Sun, a Kordes rose that blooms a lovely shade of yellow … sometimes. The bush wasnt attractive, either. In this 6-7’ space,in an existing bed, I’ve planted the Lady Hillingdon I bought from Burlington, as mentioned on another thread. She is not the climbing kind, which is good because I want her to sprawl. Does this mean I prefer OGRs? i wouldn’t go so far as to say yes, but having had teas for years, i appreciate their aesthetic, the wall-of-roses effect, the one big and (I hope) spectabular rosebush that will draw the eye and make it happy.
