Comments (12)That's a big lens, nicole. The type that causes some serious camera shake unless one is using a tripod! OJ, it's just the angle of the photo that is keeping you from seeing the mountain the eagle is flying over. Of course, the mtn furthest in the background was quite a bit taller than the ones in the foreground which probably makes it look like there is a valley as well. It could be said that there is a series of mtns that graduate in height the further one goes. Of course, the eagle doesn't care; he goes wherever he wants - hill and dale, valley or flatland, rivers and lakes. Wouldn't it be something to be free like an eagle?...See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Th 9/2/21
Comments (27)View of downtown Cincinnati taken from Mt. Adams, a local neighborhood. The spot we were standing is the terminus of the former Mt. Adams Incline. Here is some info I copied from the 'net. There were 5 different inclines in Cincinnati. The Main Street Incline (also known as the Lookout incline or the Mt. Auburn incline) opened in 1871 and closed in 1898 so there are no cards (that I know of) made. The Mt. Adams Incline (also known as The Eden Park and The Highland Incline) opened in 1876 and was the last one to close in 1948....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Th 9/14/23
Comments (20)Carol, he was about 20 metres away. He scared the bejeebers out if me. I didn’t notice him at first because he was lying so still. We’ve been off grid camping for a week now and just last night stayed closer to town. They’ve been rutting all week and making noise like you wouldn’t believe. There was frost over everything this morning!...See MoreLars
