Comments (22)Speaking of Jeopardy (and champions), did anyone notice the current champion's peculiar speech? She has a sing-song thing going on at the end of some of her statements. If she says "two hundred," for example, her voice goes down a few notes at "dred" and back up again at the finish. I'm wondering if it's a regional thing, or something unique to her. Comments (55)I think I would do badly as a contestant, because I would probably be incompetent getting my buzzer to ring in fast enough, lol! Typically I do well with categories about Literature, Medicine, Geography, Movies/t.v. shows, and North American and European History (not knowledgeable enough about history of most other Continents.) Music and sports depend greatly on the era, regarding my knowledge level. I do okay at the 'Before and After' categories, but I'm downright horrible at categories connected to Mythology, Opera, Religion, Art History and Science Fiction. But oddly enough, even if I do pretty badly during the general game, I seem to have a weird knack of getting the Final Jeopardy response correct, which accomplishes nothing, if one doesn't accumulate enough money beforehand, to win the game!...See MoreWho hasn't watched Jeopardy tonight?

No, James didn't plan to leave, and the card wasn't a "thank you, and goodbye" gesture. They tape 5 episodes in a day, two days a week. Some reports say they tape two days every other week, other reports say they tape two days each week for a set number of weeks before taking a hiatus. Reports consistently say there are a total of 46 taping days each year (for the past 30 years). James was on for 32 games, which would be, at most, 8 taping days (that would work out to be his first show was the 5th show taped on day 2 of that week's taping; then 30 shows over two days the next 3 taping weeks; then the 1st show taped on the first day of taping his final week of taping. I've seen things that say his first taping day was February 5th, and last night's show was taped on March 12th. Alex announced his cancer diagnosis on March 6th, so James gave him the card that his daughter had made less than one week later - on the first day of taping following the announcement....See MoreJeopardy - The Greatest of All Time
Comments (73)They showed replays tonight of (at least) the second and the third days shows. I originally missed the second days show, so I was glad to see that one.. But when the third days show came on, I found I remembered nearly every answer from Thursday, except the category on writer's that start with "I" and two or three that came on while I was out of the room. The rest I knew, even faster than the three contestants, and remembered many before the clue was even revealed, and many times even remembered things like: "this one James misses and Ken gets the right answer", or Brad gets both Double Jeopardy's and comments "You're welcome" to Ken. Or Remembered both Ken's wrong answer for Final Jeopardy and the correct answer....See More
