How to contact Amazon?

I placed an order on Dec. 19. When I realized it was never delivered, I looked at my order on Dec. 24th and there was a message from the seller, 'sorry your package is running late.' I sent a email to the seller that I wanted a refund. Today is Jan 1 and I just checked, never got the refund and that same message, 'sorry your package is running late' was there.

I never got the refund and want to contact Amazon directly but cannot find a link to contact Amazon.

Any suggestions?

I too try to restrict my purchases to items sold by or fulfilled by Amazon. I've had a few odd experiences with Amazon marketplace sellers. While they're required to comply with a number of Amazon's policies (regarding shipments, returns, etc.) I'm happier dealing with Amazon directly.

If you paid by credit card, dispute the charge with them. When the merchant does not get paid, you will hear from them.

vgkg - yep, I've seen similar here. Aldi has raised their Sea Scallops twice in the last few months. They had been $9.99 for 12 oz. back in the early spring and then went up to $11.99 around May and just went up again to $13.99. Still a lot cheaper than the price you are seeing. I haven't seen snow crab for $5/lb here for over a decade. They have been in the mid teens per pound since pre-covid with an occasional sale around $10. Now I don't even bother to look at them. I'd rather have King Crab but I'm not paying what they are asking these days.

@party_music50 Yes, you still get your CC cash back bonus. Like others, I donate directly to numerous charities each year. If I am shopping on Amazon (and I have cut back lately since several S&S prices have skyrocketed on many items, so I'm finding them for less locally), why not have "pennies" go to (currently) two of our grandchildren's school? My charities (both have been schools) have received almost $300 from my purchases. I am happy to do this effortless giving. @Tina Marie I don't usually buy from my phone either, but now and then I have wanted to, so I'll just save to my list, then purchase on my laptop.

Check out WWW wood products they are the Shiloh contact or if you have the name of the retailer the designer oredered from then contact them off the list of retailers . I am always leery of companies that post no contact info.

Look up the order to see if you can cancel it. Look for the cancel order tab.

Good luck. I'm still waiting for a shirt I bought to wear for Christmas. It's coming on a slow boat from China. I had the same message when I tracked it on their site. (not Amazon) It says it left a city in China on the 24th of December. I ordered it about 2 weeks before that. Another item I bought through Amazon, another shirt for my daughter, never came, Amazon tracing said it was delivered to someone in Florida. I got a refund.

They should have to tell you that it's coming from China or a foreign country and will take forever. I have had that happen before. On eBay I set the filter to only show me things that are originating in the US. I wish Amazon would have that option. And would openly disclose the shipping from location.

I usually purchase items on Amazon that are shipped by Amazon. If you buy from a private seller you never know what's going to happen, especially if it's being shipped from another country. I have bought items from China on ebay, and it can take 30 days, or longer for them to arrive.

Same here. Had a problem once with a marketplace seller that would've been easily resolved had it been Amazon itself.

I'm 3rd-ing the recommendation to stick to Amazon only. I had a fiasco of an experience with a marketplace seller. Amazon did eventually step in and make it right - but it was way more hassle that it should have been. (The marketplace seller got very weirdly personal and hostile on what should have been a simple exchange due to a defective product.)

I only buy from Amazon now. No marketplace sellers.
