Over the course of 39 years of wearing contacts, there have been times when the correction and shape were so similar that I couldn't tell if I had reversed the lenses. Other times it was very obvious that I had reversed them because either the correction was "off" or there was physical discomfort because the shape of the eyes was significantly different. I also had one lens that fit so poorly that I kept thinking that I must have reversed the lenses. (I finally had it replaced.) At each exam and fitting, get your eye doctor to explain in non-medical terms what is going on with the eyes. Comments (13)I apprecite the time y'all are taking to answer me. I will ask him about the additional cleaning to make sure it's fully ok. It looks like it is. I've now seen on another website (sorry, I don't want to be talked into disposable! I was merely curious for personal experience. Looks like I stand alone.), there is no degredation for a lens by the hydrogen peroxide cleaning. It won't work for disposables because they're so thin, it'd cause wear on them to give them the same regimen as daily wear. Daily wear are much thicker. They don't tear and degrade like disposables and can withstand the cleaning regimen. I will tell you, there's nothing going on with my eyes. Cheap materials are cheap materials that make for flimsy contacts. It's just my experience. They're not nearly as good as daily wear. Period. Conversely, if you ever want to give daily wear (permanent) lens a try, I am finding that the gel drops, give it that fresh out of the box, silicone hydrogel feel, without the poorer quality of disposable. Comments (24)vgkg - yep, I've seen similar here. Aldi has raised their Sea Scallops twice in the last few months. They had been $9.99 for 12 oz. back in the early spring and then went up to $11.99 around May and just went up again to $13.99. Still a lot cheaper than the price you are seeing. I haven't seen snow crab for $5/lb here for over a decade. They have been in the mid teens per pound since pre-covid with an occasional sale around $10. Now I don't even bother to look at them. I'd rather have King Crab but I'm not paying what they are asking these days....See More
