Grout too dark in master bath

I messed up my bathroom floor. We chose a beautiful bianco dolomite 2” hex for the floor and 12x24 on the shower walls. The tile was so pretty and exactly what I wanted for a spa like bathroom.

Unfortunately, the grout I picked for the floor is way too dark. It looks super busy and not the look i was hoping for. I wanted a light gray to hide dirt but this is more of a medium to dark gray.

My tile guy says there is no way to lighten the grout with marble tiles and we can’t afford to redo it. At this point, I am hoping to hide / soften it with rugs and also hoping the freestanding white tub will help once it’s installed.

Has this happened to anyone else? Did you get used to the too dark grout over time? Any other ideas on how I can make it look better? I am thinking a 5x7 rug in front of the vanity and large bath mats in front of tub and in toilet room. I was thinking maybe even curtains that do to the floor which might hide / soften too.

We installed heated floors - will the rugs feel warm?
