Comments (11)Brandy I really had some nice tomatoes on my plants I planted for winter too. I just got to lacy to haul them in also lol. I would buy your plants for that price in a heartbeat. Rigo but then only RED light ...it might help thost tomatoes to ripen faster lol. Oh NO NO red light . hahaha I just remembered way back when I was still innocent roflmao. I was like 30 something hahahahaha I put a RED lightbulb in the lightfixture by my front door. My girlfriend had to tell me first what that really means! lol. I am suprised that the MP's did not come by and arrest me for doing that ON POST roflmao. Make it a colorful chain Brandy lol Lucy...See Moresome holiday decorating thoughts....
Comments (19)I haven't read the replies yet, but will after I post my thoughts. You all know I don't decorate for Fall, including Thanksgiving. It's because I find those colors to be extremely ugly and boring ONLY inside the house. Outside they're stunning! We love Thanksgiving, but TG is the official first day of the holiday season in my family. I used to wait until Dec. 15th to put up my tree, now it's sometimes after TG. Everything turns brown right now and is so dull, why carry it into the house? Right now I've put up my winter tablecloths. They will match with Christmas decorating but can also hold their own as a winter decor. It's a sneaky way to begin. lol. Christmas is the long holiday, if we're lucky, the joy of Christmas stays with us until New Years. SO MUCH THOUGHT goes into decorating, if I waited until December to decide what I want to do this year I'd be frazzled half the month and not enjoy myself. This year's decorating won't be as over the top as last year, but I still want it cheerful and elegant at the same time. I already have my Christmas Card station set up! I wish others than myself sent out old-fashioned cards instead of just pictures, but that's another topic! lol...See MoreA Picture Only I Could Love...Thoughts
Comments (18)stinky-gardner..my thoughts exactly, and as you stated >> 'What bothers me, is how this person's entire thread became dedicated to the subject.' Having known OA for yrs, and knowing what her intent was, this bothered me to see what was taking place. I responded to it on her thread, and will Repeat what I said here >> 'Gee Ladies...I'm marveling over the responces here on OA's post... Seems like 'Much Ado About Nothing' !! Without even checking out what she was referring to, you all jumped to conclusions and went On & On about Rules and such. OA is a LONG time GW member and a Favorite Poster on Holiday. I'm afraid you missed her innocent message with unfriendly messages of your own.' Stinky-gardner, even though as you said, Allison meant no harm...I totally agree that there is a need to be a little more mindful of the interests & needs of the other person. This was a perfect example of just the opposite, and I believe hurtful and rude. I'm hoping that your thread brings awareness towards someone new who ventures in...Whether looking for advice or is happy to add something of interest, and can do so without the feeling of rejection. jane...See MoreI'm Curious; I've Learned A Great Deal From Pictures
Comments (22)I think it's important that the room feels right IRL. The advantage of the photo's is that you get a different perspective and an opportunity to see it the way it really is. For instance, my kitchen "felt" just fine to me. I took some pictures for an e-mail to my sister and "something" looked wrong to me. It was the toe kicks under the cabinet base (which are really more base boards, but you can't tell and they look like they should be part of the base cabinets). I painted all the toe kicks black and it's just what was needed to kind of anchor the room. The cabinets looked like they were floating before. And after seeing my telephone on another thread -- I'm definitely going to do something different with that area!...See MoreAnnie Deighnaugh
