I always buy a box for my MIL, who is fond of them but doesn’t get them for herself.

I loved them as a younger person, but I find them too sweet for me now. They were a special Christmas treat for me as a teen.

I don't buy them -- my daughter-in-law always makes them for Xmas gifts, a tradition with her mom and her kids!

I buy my husband a small package of Godiva cherry cordials every year as a stocking stuffer. He loves them but doesn't want a box of them! I'll also make some chocolate covered fruit (pineapple, strawberries, cantaloupe, bananas) to enjoy with a glass or two of Prosecco on Xmas eve.

I'm not a fan of the cordials at all! I remember that my Dad would bring a box home every year for mother.

I may get one box if local store has the ones with only 5 to a box. And I'd like for them to be dark chocolate.

Chocolate covered cherries are a Christmas tradition with me. Before I wrap them, I tape money to the bottom of each box.

yes, I usually try to buy a box each year. I no longer have to share them with anyone - so I don't! I eat them all myself.

No, I've never liked them, and I wouldn't gift them (unless I know that the person loves to get them) -- obviously there are a lot of people who do like them!

I used to like them but they are to sweet for me now. I do love the cherry/brandy chocolates at Trader Joe's, as well as their brandy beans. Almost as good as the German Mon Cherie and Asbach Uralt chocolates.

Nope! Don't like them and I don't know anyone who does. If I give candy at Christmas it will be something I make. Except for the chocolate oranges my daughter loves.

Are they selling the chocolate covered cherries made with the Coke liqueur this year? They actually weren't too bad.

I bought 2 boxes of the Queen Anne milk chocolate covered on Saturday. By Sunday night I only had 1/2 box left . Yummy .

Also, there are two different varieties, those with the clear liquid centers and those with a creamy center. Which do you prefer? I like them both.

I'm making chocolate covered dates this year, and I will stuff them with walnuts and use bittersweet chocolate, since the dates are already very sweet. We bought a bunch of dates the last time we were in Coachella Valley, a couple of weeks ago.

We buy a few boxes every year. Prefer the milk chocolate over the dark chocolate. And, they have to be frozen. Anybody like Nyakers Ginger Snaps? OMG!

I saw a tiny box of dark chocolate covered cherries in CVS pharmacy today. I almost bought them. They only had 5 or 6 cherries in them.

Hershey Kisses have a cherry center this time of year. I find them at Target.

i loved the clear liquid, the white, creamy center was too sweet for me way back when...

i will try a better brand and they might not be as sweet as the cheaper brands.

Chocolate covered cherries were my mother's favorite. She received, as gifts, at least three boxes every Christmas. She passed away in February of 2016 and I haven't had one since.

Never ever bought those... but I buy German Christmas Cookies, Spekulatius, and I have bought a nice supply of them.

Haven't yet but I will soon. I like them in the refrigerator chilled. Takes me a while to eat a box, but I ALWAYS do!
