Island & Table Seating Coordination Help, Please - Open Floorplan
Comments (14)Awesome. :-) I just found the Pier 1 rectangular stools that Ida posted ("Lawson"), and they come in a few different colors/stains. I really like the natural finish... Hopefully, I won't have to ask my husband to sand them down and restain, lol (I have a hard time with various finishes clashing with the table -- it's a miracle the dining chairs actually worked). I'll ask him and see which one he wants, Option B or Pier1. Thank y'all so much! I am a bit sad at not really being able to pull off the pretty wrought iron backed stools, but I can always do scrolly light fixtures and wall hangings. :-)...See Morehelp! breakfast area lighting to coordinate with island pendants
Comments (6)It is a challenge because the pendants are such an impactful element side by side and in such close proximity to your breakfast table you need to find something that doesn't compete with what you already have. I would add another material like glass so the area doesn't feel to heavy. https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/hd0/thorne-modern-5-light-kitchen-island-pendant-l6087-k~trpt2405.html?curpage=4&sku=TRPT2405&refid=GX263428761104-TRPT2405_24715957_24715958 https://www.wayfair.com/lighting/pdp/birch-lane-astoria-1-light-schoolhouse-pendant-bl3637.html...See MoreNeed help coordinating kitchen island lights with kitchen nook lights.
Comments (4)@megs1030 The Kichler pendant in the picture is 15.75" Height x 10.50" Width. Island is 94"x 41" and ceiling height is 9 ft. Table is 48 in. This set will be replaced as well (the idea is to get something with a combination of white and brushed nickel or stainless still but same size). @acm Those look great. The island pendants and the nook light fixture are only 8 ft apart (from center to center). I'm wondering if switching from what I have now - mini pendants, 7" x 4" - to something much bigger as these Kichler ones (mentioned above) won't look too busy when combined with the nook. They look great but I don't mind finding something smaller if that is what it takes to bring the perfect balance....See MoreHelp coordinating chandelier with pendants
Comments (1)hoping the pendants are for decor only and not for functional working light. that being said. if I was trying to mimic the age of the house I would go with three. 1 has too many plastic parts , 2 is a bit overdone IMO. have you thought to maybe that style pendant over the island and a more traditional chand. over the table? I also like milk glass....See MoreRL Relocation LLC
