What are you doing for Thanksgiving?

We go up to our cabin and then over to a dear friend's cabin (best man from our wedding) for a traditional turkey dinner - just four of us. It's quite low key and lovely. I think we have been doing this for about ten years now - since their kids left the nest and don't come home for TG and our parents/siblings have passed and remaining siblings do their own thing with their families. We used to host TG at our house for maybe 10-12 depending on who could make it. I enjoyed it and have fond memories but it wasn't without some family "issues" sometimes. I don't miss that. As we get older it's interesting how our holiday traditions are evolving. Since we don't have kids they aren't evolving to same old, same old - new generation. I rediscovered my cute turkey napkin holders - bringing a few to give to our friends - no need for twelve even though I don't anticipate ever hosting another Thanksgiving.
