Need suggestions on curtains for family room
Comments (7)Congrats to you and your new little one!! I have been looking for curtains/drapes for my dining room slider and I have found some great choices on jcpenney.com and also country curtains.com. Your room is lovely and I think a colorful print would be great... it would be shame to cover all that beautiful moulding but there are inside mount valances or how bout a panel on each window with a tieback.. for example, left window with tieback to left and right window with a tieback to the right.. then the moulding won't be totally hidden under panels on both sides of the window...hopefully i am making sense.. and for the slider either a matching valance or a slider panel.. I have ordered panels for my slider from jcp that are backordered but should be shipped any day now.. My room is painted Behr winter wheat with white wainscotting on bottom half of the walls so I went with spicy red to add some more color to the room.. I'll post a pic when they come in.. I hope I was some help but most of all wanted to welcome you to this forum. I am quite new here myself and I am sure you will get some wonderful ideas from the amazing people on this site....See MoreLooking for design suggestions in family room vaulted cielings
Comments (11)That looks pretty darn......................brown? If it's what you like, fine. But honestly.......how about some pillows? Lower the tv, and get an IR repeater. Invest in a console long enough to visually support the tv. Yes........to art. Perhaps to some shades with texture at the windows, versus the utilitarian and cold blinds? Your best bet, is to find some interior design help local to you.......and let her take you just a bit out of your "comfort zone" . : )...See MoreArrangement suggestion for extra space in rectangular family room
Comments (2)Judging from just one photo, every looks off. Either the rug is too small or it isn’t centered on the windows, which means the sofa isn’t centered. If I am correct, reposition and then put the love seat on the other side of sofa. That leaves the unused space wide open. I’d take advantage of the single window and set up a table for playing games or have snacks....See MoreFamily room - furniture placement suggestion
Comments (58)the upper right green is nice. so are any of the left column. whites are good. any of the prints except for that striped one, I like. I really like this one https://www.etsy.com/listing/1153775224/new-p-kaufmann-brissac-blue-floral-print https://www.etsy.com/listing/472418967/new-p-kaufmann-brissac-floral-print I'd mix this one w/the same color greens and blues. the print is good because it gives some variation. as long as the print pillows are in the same shades/tones as the solid pillows, it will work https://www.perigold.com/Loom-Decor--Hillside-Square-Cotton-Pillow-Cover-and-Insert-PLOOMROOFTOP-GARDENPOSY-GREEN-L1227-K~LMDE1229.html...See Moregroveraxle
