Timex makes the stretch bands (call them expansion bands now) in extra long that go to 7.75 inches. In the questions for one of their watches on Amazon, when asked about changing the length, Timex posted a reply

I would give that a try -- you just need a couple of links added to allow you to have a feminine watch. A men's option just isn't the same -- especially since they run so large these days. Hope that helps.

I also have a large wrist.. just big boned all around.. I can't say I've had too hard a time finding watches but since I have a metal allergy, I stick to the same range of watches for the most part. I like Skagen watches. I believe the retail cost is over 100-- but you will often find them for much less. I have also worn Anne Klein watches without an issue getting them around my wrist (but I haven't worn AK metal bands).

Funky, I'm going to look at Anne Klein watches. I think Macys online has them.

Because I always wear watches on my left wrist that's the one I measured. Today I measured both wrists and there's quite a difference.

L - 8"

R - 7.5"

I bet my right wrist is smaller since I'm right handed, therefore it gets more exercise. lol Last night I read when measuring for a watch to add half an inch.

Question about expansion bands. Are they measured when the band is fully extended? The longest band I found with extensions were 7.5.

I don't know what style you are looking for but I know you like some girly girl things-- so i'll share another brand I have -- now I do wear it on the last hole some days but most often I wear it on the second hole.

Olivia Burton .. they tend to be well over 100-- but there are sales and Amazon has a number of options under $100. The first one below is the one I have.

@Oakley I was afraid I was misunderstanding what you wanted. I tend to wear huge watches. In the summer, I wear a white Michele with a rubbery band. In the winter, I wear a men’s medium size Cartier Tank with a black caiman band.

Is your desire for an expansion band simply for the ease of getting it on and off? Are there other bands that would appeal to you?

Is your current watch running but you just need a band for it?

When I was looking around to see what might be available for you, one of my Google searches brought up watches with easy on and off bands for folks with arthritis. I was unsuccessful in finding those watches.

I love the spare look of Daniel Wellington watches but they do not have the expansion bands.

In the past I have worn at least one Anne Klein that performed well. And I used to buy my kids Fossil watches. If there is a Fossil store near you, check it out. My wrist is small (around 6.25”) so I always need to have links removed. I think you can find something that will meet your needs. Even a leather band can work for most sizes. Prices sure have gone up though, and it seems like almost every decent thing is at least slightly over $100.

I don't know about watches, but I have a fitbit with interchangeable bands. The band I use is magnetic and it sticks to itself so it is infinitely adjustable...don't know if they make bands like that for regular watches or not.
