Remodeling Design Dilemma Bathrooms

Help! Please help me find a medicine cabinet to match this ASAP!

i'm in the middle of a bathroom renovation and the mirror shown ( see photos and link ) replacement won't be in stock till July! I need a recessed medicine cabinet in the finish and dimensions as shown and specified in my photos,

The mirror shown works with my new wall sconces and even though it seems straightforward , it was surprisingly hard to find in the finish and size needed ( not looking for an absolute match in dimensions but hopefully close).

I've been looking everywhere. On Houzze and off. Any Houzzers who can come to the rescue and help my remodel stay on schedule?Heres the original mirror.and here's the original link:

It's a recessed cabinet and the price , on sale, was a bit over $200.

Never mind. Found a replacement, even though it's not a medicine cabinet (found a solution to make up for the lost storage space) . I can't delete my original post. A glitch? Going with this:

If/when we gut our master bath, this is exactly what we will do with newly de-tiled wallspace inside the door (backing into closet in bedroom). However, our set-up will be deeper (made from 11"x1" boards), and open (baskets on shelves). I hope to recess the existing (utilitarian, from Lowes) medicine cabinet into the wall opposite the sink, and place a large framed mirror on the wall above the sink. This way, we're maximizing all the available wall space. Can't wait!

your budget is what is making it hard for you because most cabinet companys make a wall cabinet for ie: over the toilet and have many stains and some styles to work with...but for more than 125... i think painting a cabinet your wall color is a good idea if you can find one--- or maybe you can look for a shelving unit (or an over the toilet shelving unit if you have limited space) and store things in baskets, etc....

The Potterybarn model was chrome. I think it was bigger than the Ali. I love the Robern cabinets and if you are looking for medicine cabinets, definitely look at them. I love the Robern base aluminum cabinets because they are light weight over wood or MDF. Good luck on your hunt!

I get the dilemma. Perhaps you can get 2 pieces of the same wood as your steps and try a walnut stain and a no-stain-just-poly example. I’m torn between keeping the steps being natural with polyurethane or getting them a little darker for maintenance reasons. Steps take a beating, so unless there is a runner in their future (which doesn’t make sense with that gorgeous staircase) I would be concerned about wear and tear. But enough poly on anything is like iron, so going natural would absolutely work. My curiosity would force me to try to match the darkest line in the main floor. And yes, your floors are INCREDIBLE! What a gift to find these under carpeting!
