How did my singe change to a double?
Comments (1)What is most likely is that your violets can bloom either single or double, depending upon growing conditions. The fact that all (3) of the violets you moved are blooming similarly indicates that growing conditions are responsible. So ... leave the plants where they are, ... and you should continue to enjoy blooms like you're getting now. BTW ... this particular forum is for the display of African Violet photos. You would have probably gotten a faster response by posting this in the African Violet discussion forum. To make the switch, just click on "Discussions" under the "Messages" heading at the top of the thread listing. Welcome to the Gardenweb forums. Comments (32)Hybridizer Ron Livingston named a plant 'Jon's Song' just last year... that's what makes my heart sing. :) Wow! I just tried to go get you the URL for the Hosta Library's pictures of 'Jon's Song' and it crashed my computer (running Firefox instead of Windows Internet Explorer). I saw someone else put up a note about this earlier... wonder what is wrong over there?...See MoreWhat did you go to get rid of your tummy after baby? (more)
Comments (8)i had a c-section 11 weeks ago (to the day!) and i think i still have about 10 pounds to go to my prepreg weight. my stomach was awesome before! not bragging, but a had a tight tummy with a line down the middle! i still have a line, but it's the one from being pregnant! i had a low low down bikini cut, way below any bikini i would ever wear! i started doing sit-ups and yoga again a couple of weeks ago and i just hope in time my tummy will look good again! it doesn't look all that different anymore, just fatter. my advice, drink lots of water, eat healthy, and work out! that's all i think can be done ( : -jami...See MoreWhat roses made your heart sing today?
Comments (95)Moonlight Magic set my heart singing today. Brought home a pair from Lowe's this Spring in bud & bloom. Strong & vigorous plants, free from black spot so far in hot & humid no spray conditions. The silvery lavender color caught my eye, but leaning in to sniff the blooms sealed the deal. Repotted to 5-gallons, they've grown & bloomed very well. HMF says none to mild fragrance, but ratings & comments say otherwise. I give it a 7 of 10, redolent of old rose damask & fruit. This rose has thoroughly charmed me. Sue http://www.helpmefind.com/gardening/l.php?l=2.4376&tab=1...See MoreMichele
