Window treatments for bedroom windows with unique ceiling
Comments (4)I would do shades on the windows with a specialty shaped shade on the arch. Honeycomb shades and Roman shades are available in room darkening and arched shapes. Since your bedroom faces neighbors, I would also look into top-down/bottom-up for the shades on the lower windows. You can let light into the room without your neighbors being able to see in. Shutters are available in specialty shapes, but the louvers are on the arch would need to be in a stationary position - either open or closed....See MoreWindow treatment for tall thin windows.

Comments (5)I would recommend top down / bottom up pleated shades. (I would recommend seeking a really good brand though, the cheap ones break easily.) edit: would recommend for the shades to be light filtering, and then add curtain panels she can close at night for better darkening. top down is excellent for letting light in while keeping privacy, depending on the angle. if the neighbors have a window that's higher up than hers, then that setup won't work. if that won't work, then I recommend aluminum blinds, 2" wide. they'll be lighter and easier to raise. good brands make nice looking ones and I think the 2" wide ones look better than the skinny type. add sheer curtains. she can use the sheers for partial privacy during the day, and they'll soften the look of the blinds....See MoreWindow treatment for awkward size/positioned window
