Looks like we are off to a good start. Any objections to letting this run until the middle of November, then close it off? I was thinking around the 12th. That would give me a few days to verify addresses, then send the information to the various participants, and still have lots of time for people to get their bookmarks mailed.

I should have asked it there are any new people who don't know how this works, and would like to be let in on the fun. Speak up if that is the case. The more the merrier.

Me, too -- very grateful for this forum and the long term friendships it has made possible. By interesting coincidence, I have actually been fortunate enough to meet both Siobhan and Carolyn in the real world. And Rouan, of course, is a life long acquaintance, given that she is my sister ;-]

Personally I am delighted to send and receive bookmarks to and from other countries.

We have just a few more days until the 12th. After that I will check on addresses. If you think there is anyone else who would like to participate, please feel free to send them a nudge. We have been around 12 or so the past few years and are up to 10 just now, so perhaps this will be it.

I am in the process of emailing the exchange list. We have exactly the same participants as we did last year, which makes it easier. Please note that Siobhan has a new address.

I'll send the list through GW where people are enabled and from my email where they are not. Skibby, Yoyobon, and Christine are not, but so I used the same email addresses they gave me last year.

If all goes well, everyone should have the list shortly. Please check your own address to make sure that nothing has gone wrong. Typing is not my #1 skill.

It is done

I had a free day with the snow storm earlier this week, so my bookmarks have gone to the Post Office and are on their way. I'm looking forward to the next few weeks of mail!

All my cards have been neatly written,

And stacked in a tidy pile.

Sheri, the post office is quick! I got mine today and I love all of them, especially the book dragon.

I hope to have mine out early next week.

I've purchased cards long enough to hold the bookmarks (same cards I used a previous year) but have not yet had time to write any cards. Maybe next week - some of you are inspiring me!

I’m a bit behind but mine will go out in the mail tomorrow. I have already received several. I was going to try something new this year and open them all on Christmas Day, but temptation got the better of me and I opened them all this evening!

Well, I'm the one who's embarrassingly late this year. [blush] I just wrote the cards and stuffed all the envelopes, so they will all be going out in tomorrow's mail. No homemade ones this year, but since I've started back to work half-time, I have access to the NASA bookmarks again. Enjoy! Apologies to those of you who receive them after Christmas!
