I have Amtico flooring in my kitchen/laundry rooms. You can find it at high end flooirng stores. Amtico looks like real wood because it has a slight wood-grain effect in the surface, it's laid in "planks" and the edges have a very tiny bevel. No one believes its vinyl and it can take anything our family of nine plus a dog can dish out. Steam clean it. I think it's called Priory Oak, the wood images were taken from pews in a very old English church. So lovely and practical but definitely not inexpensive. I also have Amtico black "stone" tiles in two bathrooms. These have fake grout lines that have not been an issue to maintain. Silver grout in the girls bathroom and taupe grout in mine. Tiles have a slight texture which is good in a bathroom. Tiles seem impervious to water, even a flooding washing machine has not lifted any planks of the concrete slab they are floated/glued on. Love these floors!

I suspect you will regret bamboo. I have stranded bamboo in a kitchen and I wouldn't put it in a bath. If you really don't have the money to truly fix the deflection, use a small mosaic tile, hexagon or penny-round will probably work best. Use a masonry board or a uncoupling membrane and then adhere the tiles with a flexible thin set. I prefer Laticrete 254, but if you have to do the big box store, Flex bond from Home Depot isn't bad. Then use a decent flexible grout. The Mapei flexcolor is a solid product. If your floor is flexing enough to break those tiles then you have much bigger problems. Eventually the grout might work loose but you should have quite a while before that becomes a real problem. ETA: Check my advice on the johnbridge forums if you would like. You can literally paste my advice to your problem over there and get opinions from professional tilers who will put their name and experience right there in their signature.

@Jenny Medinger I hear you! I have agonized. Napa Dry Cork was actually one that I thought for sure I'd be installing. Def buy a box of whatever you are thinking of b/c the sample boards really don't give you enough of an idea. I spent $140 on a box and glad I did. The planks do look great -- it's a beautiful floor. But the light pieces were too grayish/yellowish for my house. I then decided to get a box of Napa Tannin since it looked warmer to me. But the dark planks were a little too dark for my house. So I decided that while I love both in other people's pics, I knew that having planks with that much variation were going to do it for me. I'm 99.95% sure I'm going with Coretec's Hayes Oak which is wider, with very low variation between planks. Again, even though boxes of unused LVP sucks to spend the $ on, it would suck worse to install something that you don't like once you see it in your home.
