Red tin ceiling in basement multipurpose room???

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some personal and professional advice on applying a used, Red corrugated metal roof as a ceiling treatment in a 7' 10" basement multipurpose room. The metal roofing is from my mother-in-laws house that is slated for demolition. I want to rescue the material from the dump and save a bit on my renovations. I'm planning on keeping the walls white with a 8" wood (walnut colour) flloor trim. The floor is polished cement for now. I have a rolled up red and green themed area rug waiting to be put back into commission after years in storage. I thought it would be a great idea to use a material that would give me big coverage but relatively easy to remove if ever I needed to access anything in the ceiling. The thought of the typical suspended ceiling doesn't sit well with me because I want the space to feel warm, cozy and rustic. What do y'all think? Should I use the red metal roofing or go digging for something else? Thanks in advance.
