Breakfast Time on Saturday!
Comments (16)-7F in Calgary right now, but feels like -17F. Brrrrr I am going to brave going out in this to go to the Silk Road Spice store to buy more good spices to make Tumeric tea. :) It's delicious and warms the bones on a cold day like today. I am not a breakfast person. We usually have a big one on the weekends, but since my husbands major surgery 3 months ago, that's kind of gone away. My breakfast today consisted of one black coffee, followed by another cup of coffee with coffee flavoured whipped cream on top. ;) I'll probably make us an omelet when I get back from the store....See MoreSupper Time on Saturday
Comments (17)We had lunch at a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant on Wednesday and I really liked their spring rolls and tried to copy them tonight....almost, but not quite. ;-) We are also making beef short ribs, marinated in yummy Chinese inspired spices and flavors, sweet and sour steamed green beans, and rice. I tell you, those ribs smell fabulous! The ginger, garlic, anise, smoked sesame oil, and soy.....holy cow....See MoreFirst Saturday in November -- It's Dundee Time!

Comments (18)Too early for breakfast here.......I am only on my second cup of coffee! Give me a couple of hours :-) I am kinda off traditional breakfast foods this week - just bored with them I guess. I made a wild blackberry cobbler yesterday that is sounding appealing (it was darn good still warm last night!) or leftover sausage and mushroom flatbread...........Whatever, it will be fast and easy....See More- 6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoMarilyn Sue thanked WalnutCreek Zone 7b/8a
