I'm still gathering up the swatches and am hoping to get some paint on the wall by next weekend (fingers crossed!). saypoint - your advice is SPOT on (and it works for checking out the swatches too)! Thank You! Instead of putting the swatches next to each other (on a fairly bright green tinted primer wall), I separated them and put them on a white backdrop. It has made such a HUGE difference, and they look so different to me now! So far, the lead swatch is Soft Fern. When I had it next to brighter green swatches I wasn't crazy about it, and thought it was too gray - but when I looked at it by itself (and on a white backdrop) - I am Really loving it. Soft, subtle, yet still a lovely green. It could be - "the one!" I'll definitely keep you all posted. Thank you so much, again!! :)

Thanks so much for the recommendations. I'm going to look into several of these. He chose Dill Pickle for now and am struggling to find a neutral for the other 3 walls that compliment it. Any ideas? I'm using guilford in our home office, love it!

I think Sea Salt or Comfort Grey by Sherwin Williams would look beautiful. We have both of these colors in our beach condo and they are gorgeous. They have a hint of green/blue and grey depending on lighting. We are putiing comfor grey in our bathroom with the fantasy brown granite. We are putting fantasy brown in our kitchen too. In our kitchen we are doing Fawn Brindle which is a neutral but has a slight green undertone. I'm hoping it will go nicely with the granite. The shade below is called Ethereal Mood, it's really pretty too. I was torn on the two.

The painted cabinets were done 3 years prior to the decision to change the countertops. But it was a rookie mistake. I guess I could have tried to determine what countertop would go well with the already painted cabinets. I love the countertop more than the white cabinets and am about to have them re-painted.
