tree peonys what have i done wrong
Comments (5)Plant them deeper. Tree peonies are just the opposite of herbaceous peonies when it come to planting depth. You should plant the graft at least 7 to 10 inches deep. You want the tree peony to build its own roots and for the nurse root to die off after the tree peony gets established. Make sure they get enough water and give them some shade if they are in the full sun. Don't be feeding them a lot of fertilizer, just make sure you have good garden dirt with a lot of compost mixed it. Good luck. Diann...See Moremy serrano looks pitiful. what have i done wrong?
Comments (13)let it really dry out. Unless it starts wilting, let it go to the weekend. Less water is better than more water. Believe me, I have waterlogged plants in pots here from the May-June continual rains, lots of yellow leaves, some really sad blossom end rot on my tomatoes (i.e. from the continual soaking in rainwater - interferes with calcium uptake which causes the fruit to rot when it's grown and almost ready to eat - very demoralizing) - you gotta get those plants dry and then keep them dry. Don't water unless you have to - unless their wilting etc. Then get them on a regular minimalist regimen of one good thorough watering once or maybe twice a week in the early morning. As a side note, I've been having a really tough time with serranos. Of the 15 or so varieties I'm growing, my two serranos are the least robust and seem to react the worst to the weird rainy, cold weather we've had this year....See MoreDone wrong by blacktop contractor - what to do?
Comments (4)You've probably dodged a bullet by not dealing with them, so consider yourself lucky. I would look at other companies and go for ones with good referrals - from what I understand driveway asphalt is a racket. I would also examine the contract carefully and maybe have a lawyer look at it, so you can confirm in writing to them that they are not interested in doing your job and the contract is null and void, and I'd document all the calls and the responses you've had, you don't want them turning up suddenly after it's done and saying "well if you have already had the job done, we want our money, we'll settle for the $5700." As I understand how you've explained things, theoretically you are still on the hook to them if they 'decide' to do it or whatever....and I agree, from the stories I've heard, I'd never say yes to a door to door person saying "we've got leftover asphalt" or "while we're doing the neighbourhood.." In my town there have been some fly by nighters, literally and it's not uncommon....See Moredone right...done wrong!!!
Comments (16)I too am slightly confused about the issue. The clear picture has 2 doors and a dark track. Your picture is a single door with 2 colors for the hardware - Is that the issue? If you closed the doors in your first picture you would see something similar to your picture...Or is it the trim piece that the track is mounted to??? Hopefully we can give you some help!...See Morelocaleater
