Nice machine... these I would love to drive in by hand after doing over a hundred wood pressure treated 4-5 inch by hand.

Not great lighting for pics, but a couple spruces are doing their thing: Picea pungens 'Procumbens' It used to be very stiffly horizontal, but the left side started upturning last year or so. Usually even more intense blue. Picea abies 'Pendula' Picea glauca 'Rainbow's End' Picea pungens 'Thume'

Now that the SW Mindful Gray in flat is on the stucco, it is quite a bit lighter than we were expecting Good thing you didn't go with Pure White. 🙂 This is why we rarely specify an actual color of white for exterior. Sunlight strips Chroma. So, exteriors need colors with a bump of Value and Chroma to start with. Mindful Gray and Origami White share a chunk of DNA. You could say that Mindful Gray is slightly more colorful and a darker version of Origami. Speaking of, what are the differences between SW Iron Ore and BW Wrought Iron? Difference between two colors is mapped in hue/value/chroma. Hue Family - Iron Ore is Green-Yellow hue family. Wrought Iron is Purple Blue. Value - Wrought Iron is darker because it's lower in Lightness and Value. Chroma - Iron Ore is more neutral than Wrought Iron because it has less Chroma. A lower Chroma number means the color is closer to the neutral value pole in color space. What about LRV? Notice Wrought Iron has a 8.2 LRV - higher than Iron Ore at 6.0. The LRVs say that Iron Ore should look darker. It doesn't. VERTICALLY Compare the chips. Wrought Iron looks darker - OPPOSITE what the LRV numbers say. Why? LRV is how light or dark a color *is*; it tells you how much light a color reflects. That's it. That's all it does. LRV does not directly indicate perceived lightness. <<< Fact right there WE CANNONT COMPARE LRVs FROM DIFFERENT BRANDS. Because LRV is the Swiss cheese of data values in color science world - it's incredibly easy to poke holes in it. That's why LRV is extremely controversial in color expert camps. And that's why color experts reference L* or Munsell Value to get a read on how light/dark a color looks -- NOT LRV. With that in mind, can anyone recommend a nice off-black that will go well with Mindful Gray? I like Iron Ore with Mindful Gray. But I also have a bias, I like Iron Ore in general - I think it's pretty. The list above is all of the colors of Black/Off-Black that SW has in its entire collection.

Do you know I can find all my old posts I started. If I go I just find 3 posts. I probably started 10+ . Same things for comments, only a couple shows up Thank you
