Hi Nita, For a family room with large openings like this, you might want to consider a circular/organic shaped sofa as a center piece and leave the circulation around it . Because linear sofas are difficult to align with the walls, and they would not be as successful in creating a center place where the family can gather together. Hope this helps!

These are options for you but you will have to MEASURE VERY CAREFULLY to make sure any sofa or sectional you purchase will fit. Do not purchase any seating that is very deep as there is NO ROOM for that type of furniture. You can mount your TV on a bracket to angle the screen if that works better for you

I like Jck910 ideas. I used barn door hangers to change French doors to a slider once. I'd like to add to those ideas. You could use an art tv so when it's not in use you have a nice picture to look at. Another idea would be to hang an art tv beside your french doors and have a longer couch along the window wall with a couple of smaller chairs across from it. Can one of the French doors be stationary most of the time?
