They should straighten up on their own. You could do more harm than good trying to move them on your own. I know you said it wasn't wind, but a couple years ago I had a wind storm literally flatten my corn that had been about 4 ft tall. It was hard to keep my DH from going out there and trying to straighten it, but within a few days the corn turned itself upright without any help. The only other thing I can think of is sunlight. You say they are protected from wind...does that mean they are not getting direct sunlight. If they are strecthing toward the light that could be the cause of the slant, in that case they probably won't straighten up.

Sorry I can't help you with your question on the spa. Personally, I don't care for spa's that are attached to the pool. We opted for a separate, above ground hot tub/spa that we had placed near the pool. It was easier to care for it, had more jets (we wanted it for therapy), cheaper to keep it warm/hot and located it just outside our master bedroom. We actually had it recessed into the ground a couple feet and a masonry bench built around it on three sides which then became additional seating as well as a place to put snacks, drinks, and towels. It also made getting into and out of the spa a lot easier as you only had to sit on the bench then spin around on your butt. The spa is that brown thing just beyond the basketball hoop. It has a cover on it to keep the water warm and clean.

You can put a new door to cover the entire section. That said, I'd pry up the floor or side walls of one of the boxes and see what's underneath. I would not drill or saw, at least not without turning off all power to the kitchen (or house, if your house is wired like mine) and doing it on a Monday morning, so you have plenty of time to hire someone to fix a hole in whatever is behind there. That said, I think people focus too much on small quirks or flaws that no one else notices. If it were my kitchen, I'd leave it and never think about whether it matches or not.
