Is World Cup a lutescent hosta? (more gold as the season progresses)

I don't see it listed on the Lutescent hosta list. http://www.hostalists.org/hosta_list_lut.php

Quite a few of my favorites are on there. But I guess that is part of the reason I like them.

But thought that maybe it is too new to be on there. I have a Blue and Gold garden. I can put a Coast to Coast in the spot I have in mind (backed by Blue Angel) which I bought last fall and placed in a holding bed before I could rearrange that bed, or put the new World Cup in there.

World Cup is so structurally different than Blue Angel I think it would look striking. Of course I have an adolescent World Cup. Maybe someone has a picture of a more mature one.

Thank you. I am hoping someone has a mature World Cup so I can see it in garden context. There are so many hostas that look really different when young. I am also hoping for more gold vs. one that greens up.

I've already lost one oakleaf hydrangea, and am quite skeptical of trying again. The New England forum is fairly consistent in calling them only hardy to zone 6. Paniculums do well here, and my Endless Summer is definitely earning it's shady spot under an oak tree. Azaleas and Rhodos are a struggle here because of hardiness and pH issues. So far I haven't found anybody doing well with any of the Northern Lights with a pH above about 6.5. I have a swamp azalea doing reasonably well, but it's planted in a peat moss swamp. Basically, there are reasons I grow roses.

Yes it is terrible when our appliances give out. For the most part it is unforeseen. My fridge was 18 years old. So my lesson is: considering buying a replacement fridge at least before it's 15 years old. It's just not worth the upheaval it brings. Appliances just aren't built to last these days. In fact our salesman said fridges are made to last only ten years! I am sorry to hear about the damage your dishwasher has caused sandyslopes. When insurance is involved, it's never as quickly resolved as when they are not. But sounds like your getting the repairs and clean up taken care of. I hope it will be quicker than you think! Gr. It's part sun. It's right on the edge of a gap in branches. So it gets direct sun from maybe 1 pm to 4 pm. It does not seem to have bothered it at all. No fading or bleaching. I'll try to get a pic taken.
