Comments (0)Hi, recently purchased a home and decided to remove the fireplace mantle so that I could hang a tv with the intention to place back, assuming it would be easy. After removing I found these peg like things in the back of the mantle supports. I’ve googled the hell out of styles of fireplace mantles and can’t find anything. Any help on properly fastening this to the wall would be great. I also did a slack hydraulic cement job on the brick face that broke and used some coloring I got from Lowe’s and it came out way to red and got around (not a mason). Any tips on fading out color and clearing out cement from the mortar areas?...See MoreCan anyone help identify the type of marble on this fireplace mantle?
Comments (1)Maybe Botticino marble? My guess is that it was a lighter beige when first made....See MoreUser
