Speaking of tea.... (from a few days ago)
Comments (5)Jenn that's a smart idea - never would have thought to mix regular and herbal! Will have to try that one. texanjana - not sure I've seen that one locally but will look for the hibiscus/mint combo in another brand if if the Nile Valley isn't available. Sue I am at TJs weekly so will check for the pomegranate white tea for sure. Sounds yummy. Barb I'm trying to LIMIT the calories!!!! Maybe I'll mix the red or berry and lemon zingers without the apple juice - how bad could it be?? Actually sounds good to me. Thanks for the suggestions. Keep 'em coming..... Anyone ever use a lemon ginger tea for icing? I drink it in the winter, especially when I don't feel well so I associate it it with being sick but do like the flavor hot....See Moreis EON really that bad?
Comments (2)I was going to put some eon in my boat a few years ago and found a local supplier. I went in and asked about it and everyone gave me a dirty look and sent a boy to walk me down a dark staircase to a pile in the rear. There sat eon. They said they hated it.. and barely wanted to discuss it. I said it was not for a deck just a few scraps for a boat and they acted like eon was their worst enemy. It is one of the rare composites that has little wood in it... and I guess their formula is wrong or something because it must scratch, warp, swell..etc No idea, never used it. There is a better plastic wood used by a guy in california called mrdeck.com. It is so expensive though.. more than ipe. He wants 4.37 a lineal foot for a 2x6. So, a 2x6, say 12 foot long would run you 52.44. Ipe at around 1.90 per foot would be 22.80 for that same piece. This is without labor.. and for 1 board. But also consider you won't have to stain it year in and year out and buy brushes, stain, etc, etc. He only sells $3000 minimum and is like the soup nazi from Seinfeld. )No decking for you! next!) You'll see what I mean when you browse his website. Here is a link that might be useful: link to mr. deck, price list and photos...See MoreRECIPE: Need Deli Soup Recipes from Wild Oats

Comments (8)Hi Becky - I know that I, for one, posted that recipe many years ago - I found it in a magazine and it was a winner at the Gilroy Garlic Festival. Everybody we serve it to has the same reaction as your DH's office - love at first bite! It is really outrageous, isn't it. We hardly ever make it anymore - its just so rich - but it sure is a certifiable treat!...See Morechase_gw
