Did you put it in the shade when you put her outside?

It is on my balcony. It gets a few hours of direct sun and the rest of the day it’s shaded. I took it outside because it got very little light inside. It’s health has improved quite a bit then I saw the lesions. I purchased a copper fungicide and have bought a sealer. My plan is to do a sterile pruning and seal up the wounds. Right now only 4-5 leaves are affected. I did read the canker will drop out when the canker is older.

I live in Idaho where citrus is not grown due to the short season. We do have bacterial disease on the cherry trees here. Our tree came down after we went cherry picking. I’m wondering if we brought the bacteria over... :(

My partners family member has a tree about 5 hours away in Washington that is outdoors but it’s in a shaded courtyard and it’s doing well. But I realize now that tree gets lunch sun and mine gets morning and evening sun.

Our goal is to get it set up on a good indoor lighting system indoors starting this fall. The tree is a few years old and it is very small. As you can see I typically grow succulents or cactus. I acquired this tree and do not have much experience with citrus.

Your tree needs to be on the window sill at all time when it is inside. It needs more light than the succulent.

Hi, from what I've seen in your photos I wouldn't think your plant has citrus canker. it looks like just some localized damage to the leaves that could be caused by a few things. Calamondins aren't too thorny but in the occasion they do produce growth with thorns I've noticed self-inflicted thorn damage to leaves can look similar to that
