Anybody watching Kevin Costner's Yellowstone?

Wow, it's gritty but captivating. Last weeks episode was really raw, hard to watch sometimes but made you feel like you were almost right there. Dances with wolves its not but it is good.

We have been watching since the first season. Very good show. It gets gritty!

I've been watching since the first season too. At first I wasn't sure if I'd continue or not but it's grown on me. I've decided it's just The Sopranos in Colorado with better scenery and horses.

Last night I tried the first episode of Succession - I won't go back for #2.

anybody still watching??? i'm all caught up as of last night. when i first started watching, i wasn't really sure if i liked it. a little deep, violent, edge of my seat, straining to hear every word so as not miss anything, not all happily ever after type. tv for me is escapism for the most part. of course i like some moving shows but for the most part i like mindless shows, reality, home shows and sports. i don't watch much so its just a way to wind down at night, more or less. but this show sucked me in and held me. i think they cast it really well. the actress playing beth is amazing. the scenery is gorgeous, now i want to go Yellowstone!! what do u guys think so far, for those who are caught up?? like, love or stopped watching?? John - didn't like what i saw in the last episode, i'm nervous for him!! anyone know if its renewed for another season, or is this it???

I am watching Big Little Lies and a bunch of others that haven't started a new season yet. I'm afraid I'll have to rewatch the entire show to know what's going on in them when they do have a new season. After posting this I watched a documentary about a mother who was killed in a wrong way interstate accident, along with her daughter and nieces. Really sad. Then started watching a show about gardening in the UK. Will check out some of your suggestions, thanks.

I finally wrapped up Nashville last night. Season 6 wasn't the greatest season at all in my book. Too much singing! And Daphne's voice is like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Gosh I hated Gunner's hair!! I loved hearing Deacon express his emotions with the loss of Rayna. It hit home to be sure.

Actually have been to the movies recently!! Two times in two weeks!! Saw 'Little Women' last week - enjoyed it but it jumped around time-wise a bit and was sometimes challenging to follow. Last night went to see 'Just Mercy' and that was superb!! A true story, it will get you fired up for various reasons. One movie was pure entertainment and the other got you thinking and incensed and involved.

pudgeder...maybe you didn't watch because of the accident in the beginning. That was the case with me. It was too disturbing.

If you like scenery and horses but something gentler, try Heartland. I just finished the 11th season.

i;ve been watching since season 1. i think its great! characters, actors, WOW!! great story line. i am a few episodes behind, but its just so well done.... yes, very gritty!! Beth is A-Mazing!!!!

I think Yellowstone is great. Will watch anything with Kevin Costner. Hope there will be another season. We just finished the 4 seasons of Outlander. Will look for Heartland.

I watch it and like it but I don't love it. I think I always need one character that I like. Everyone in Yellowstone seems un-likeable to me.

We tried watching the first season but couldn't get into it. Like she said above, we have to really like or root for one of the characters and didn't feel anything for any of them. It seemed too much like a soap opera, which a lot of shows do today.

The only western type show we have liked in the last few years was Longmire. The Son was not bad, not great but I liked that it was a period piece. Also liked that it had a lot of the story line featuring Native Americans.
