Yellowstone new series tonight
Comments (23)anybody still watching??? i'm all caught up as of last night. when i first started watching, i wasn't really sure if i liked it. a little deep, violent, edge of my seat, straining to hear every word so as not miss anything, not all happily ever after type. tv for me is escapism for the most part. of course i like some moving shows but for the most part i like mindless shows, reality, home shows and sports. i don't watch much so its just a way to wind down at night, more or less. but this show sucked me in and held me. i think they cast it really well. the actress playing beth is amazing. the scenery is gorgeous, now i want to go Yellowstone!! what do u guys think so far, for those who are caught up?? like, love or stopped watching?? John - didn't like what i saw in the last episode, i'm nervous for him!! anyone know if its renewed for another season, or is this it???...See MoreWatched "The Mist" yesterday
Comments (15)I am watching Big Little Lies and a bunch of others that haven't started a new season yet. I'm afraid I'll have to rewatch the entire show to know what's going on in them when they do have a new season. After posting this I watched a documentary about a mother who was killed in a wrong way interstate accident, along with her daughter and nieces. Really sad. Then started watching a show about gardening in the UK. Will check out some of your suggestions, thanks....See MoreWhat Movies and TV shows are you watching?
Comments (135)Actually have been to the movies recently!! Two times in two weeks!! Saw 'Little Women' last week - enjoyed it but it jumped around time-wise a bit and was sometimes challenging to follow. Last night went to see 'Just Mercy' and that was superb!! A true story, it will get you fired up for various reasons. One movie was pure entertainment and the other got you thinking and incensed and involved....See MoreStreaming shows - what are you watching?
Comments (76)Binged "Emily In Paris" last night. I love that show. Perfect TV IMHO, because it is just as good with the sound off as on. So much eye candy, which is one really good reason to watch TV/movies IMHO. If it's just ho hum gritty dreary everyday life, it had better be a pretty engaging/uplifting plot or witty dialog for me to want to bother with it! :) The two things I like about EIP is that they actually show her doing real(ish) work and doing it well. Problem solving. I dislike work themed TV shows where the work is largely irrelevant, as if that were possible IRL. I also just ADORE the fashions. Made me feel seriously bad about letting myself go, although in my line of work, doing a lot of outdoor field work, I could not pull off most of those outfits to wear, considering the situations where I would be wearing them would be very few and very far between. If I could even FIND or fit into such outfits. But I would like to up my wardrobe game, that has been on my "to do" list for a long while, but I seem to have trouble finding clothes that fit me and work with what I already have and that I can afford. Even little tweaks sometimes take me months to realize. For example, I have a skirt I just love but have been searching for years to find the right top that goes with it. I "grew out of" the ones I used to wear with it. I also like how the show "Emily In Paris" is slightly "meta" meaning they at least acknowledge some of the unreality of the setting, even if just to poke fun of it . . ....See Morepudgeder
