Comments (20)I believe it has several different names, including Ice Plant, but here in Oz I've only heard it called Pigface. This one is an Australian native, by the way. https://www.anbg.gov.au/gnp/interns-2005/carpobrotus-glaucescens.html Edited to add: reading up on this, I've learned that this plant is entirely edible, flowers, leaves and all, and also good for treating insect bites and burns. 7 years agoFrom my bedroom window I see this every morning. I love this Hydrangea 'Quickfire'. Smells really good and attracts a myriad of bees, butterflies and other interesting bugs and insects.

I can see this one from my bedroom window. Our blossoms are so heavy that the branches are bending. If I prune it in late winter/early spring that will encourage stronger branches.

7 years agoThis is the view from my bedroom window. The only pictures I have of the view were taken during the winter. Maybe it will cool off those of you who are dealing with hot weather. :-)
