kswl - your O&L paper sounds wonderful! there is a really lovely metallic acorn paper in one of the books now. Sigh... I love so many of them. I used a different O&L paper with hummingbirds in my master BR. trailrunner - I would love share more photos, but I will eek them out as I have rooms more ready to show or get feedback on! Would love to see photos of your home as well! debrak - so thrilled that you noticed the way we designed the rail. That was added. I fell in love with a pedestal sink that was too tall for the existing chair rail, but I wanted to keep the rest of the chair rail at the existing height. So my carpenter and I figured this out. Here is a "before" photo. Quite a difference!

Well, rip the wall paper. Theres no short cut around that. The floor looks like the best part of this lol. Change the counter top. The sink looks chipped so replace that also. Change the cheap pine baseboards to oak or paint them. That small little piece might not even be worth painting. White cheap garbage also so, if you want white just go buy a piece.

I love this York paper (below). But we need more info for the best suggestions: idea of budget, how the rest of the house is decorated (not to perfectly match, but at least connect), what your preferred colors are, what styles you like. I think this is beautiful, but it may feel too traditional for you? Or too dark? Too much pattern? The powder room is all basic white only color is the flooring. I tried to share a photo of the flooring but could not copy and paste. The flooring is 12 x 24 EMSER Swiss Gauli polished. Can you provided some suggestion?
