What can I do with my old 33 1/3 LP albums?

Place metal bowl or pot in center of baking pan. Place record in center of inverted pot or bowl and place in oven. It will start to get floppy-looking about 7-8 minutes. Take the baking pan with everything on it out of oven. You can either use oven mitts to shape it a little more or use another bowl to put it in to shape it if you want another shape. Let it cool 10-15 minutes. Makes really cute gifts - especially if someone likes a certain group!...See MoreChristmas Scrapbook--Ideas?
Comments (5)There are a lot of great papers that you just insert your cropped photos into the open spaces. The one I used still had plenty of space for journaling, too. They still look great and it saves a lot of work. You may want to slip one in here and there since you have 20+ years worth! Might break up the monotony for you. I have also seen a paper piecing pattern for a stocking that was patchwork Christmas papers. Instead of a few of the pieces they had three or four pictures. I can't remember where I saw it, but there's a few places I can look. Even if I can't find it, I think this would be pretty easy to do. Just draw a simple stocking shape that takes up most of the page. Crop a few pages into wedges, triangles, etc. that would fit on the stocking, leaving plenty of space between them. Then use assorted Christmas patterned papers to fill in the spaces to complete the stocking. Finish with holly leaves or whatever around the edges. It sounds confusing, but it's hard to explain. If you can picture it in your head from my explanation, you can do it. I'll look for the pattern and if I find it I'll post it. Good luck and happy scrappin'! -Sarah...See Moreneed to find nice leather scrapbook
Comments (3)The "Close to My Heart" company (formerly DOTS) makes a wonderful leather scrapbook (around $50) and sells extra page protectors and extender posts to go with it (so you can make the album bigger). THE MOST IMPORTANT PART of choosing a scrapbook (to me) is the type of pages. I like the loose-leaf style with page protectors where you can change the order of the pages better than the "strap" style (which appears to commit you to the order the pages are in). SECOND MOST IMPORTANT PART of a scrapbook is finding a brand where you're sure you can get a future supply of "stuff". For example, my "Close To My Heart" page protectors will not fit in a Mrs. Grossman album... so I'll always be ordering CTMH supplies so they're always interchangeable. THIRD MOST IMPORTANT PART of a scrapbook is size. I prefer the 12x12 pages (rather than 8.5x11) so I can fit more photos on a page. Hope this helps! Comments (7)you have to watch the main page as the pictures change and then you can click on the link. Did you all have to download one song at a time? i could only find two downloads, one for the label for the disc, and another label for the jewel case. When I click on each individual song, it opens up and I don't get the ...... oops.......... never mind. It's working.
