Window dressing dilemma for a Palladium Window.

Greetings! I have this very large palladium window in my dining room that I would like to dress with draperies. The window has no blinds but currently has sheers. I don' t want to cover the window because it really makes the room and I am not close to the street so folks can not look into the window accept at night unless a light is on. The house is open concept. So, should I add drapes to each side with two separate rods and leave the sheers or should I remove the sheers and add a full drapery rod across the whole window or better yet is there another idea I haven't thought of? Please excuse the blue tape! I am currently painting and adding a wainscoting to brighten up the room a bit. Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions!

You could do something like this but it is expensive for the rods but a pretty idea I have no idea of your style so maybe share that

Thank you! My window is not round at the top but more curved. My apologies for the picture, it did not show the very top of the window. However, I really like that idea!

This is an inside view. I currently have faux vines around it to help a little. Bear in mind that I plan to paint the kitchen a color similar to SW Copper Mountain over Christmas vacation and those checked curtains are gone. This is an exterior view I love the idea of a roman shade but how expensive would it be? I did consider getting a sheet of luan cut to size and getting my very talented sister to paint a mural on it.

We have remote control blinds on the very top window that we adjust and are happy with our blinds on both top and bottom windows I’m just asking about window treatment around the windows, thank you for your suggestions and yes we also have a window too the far left of the picture I sent which is out kitchen area which I will probably need to dress also with something or not, that will be another dilemma I will deal with when the time comes, I’m also thinking maybe I can use those short rods on either side of the windows instead or a long rod? What do you think?

I had to Google "Zebra Light Filtering Shade." Had no idea someone had come up with this design. If they cannot change your order, you will be able to use thei 100% Satifaction Guarantee after your order arrives (up to 30 days after delivery) if you do not like the zebra look. I would have decided on curtain panel color or pattern before ordering blinds.

Love Patricia's photo. Any "wrought iron" workshop can fabricate a rod and support brackets to match your curve.

What you have is a window with a curved transom window. A Palladium window is an arched window with a vertical flanking window on each side. And it was designed by Italian architect, Andrea Palladio...

I would remove the sheers so you have an open view and light during the day. Is it even necessary to have any window treatment? It doesn't look like privacy is an issue. If you do want something for night, I would use drapes that you can close when needed, with a rod mounted just under the crown molding, like this photo.
