I haven't seen any in our Home Depot. I only get to a Lowe's 3 or 4 times a year. When I did go, they didn't have any. I actually thought I could walk into any garden center and buy Swedish ivy. So far, that hasn't worked. Adding to another trade would be the best option.

Hi Sue, I have tons of perennials to offer: hen & chicks, tri-color sedum, dwarf pink iris, daylilies...several others. As for indoor plants, I could share an epiphyllum and some Swedish ivy cuttings. My daughter (who has disabilities) is starting a "cottage business" making cards and the fabric might work well for her needs. Chell you are so creative and your writing is so much fun to read... I bet the boys loved playing pirate.. I can see their smiling faces now...What a great idea to make a hideout.. They will always remeber their hideout mom made for them... I miss my kids so much it hurts sometimes... Dogs are okay but they cant replace our true babies...I love reading about chell and her boys... It makes me smile so much... I love chippies...They are so cute...Havent had many around with a cat now...Kiki has brought home two gardener snakes...He was very proud of himself... Yesterday I was getting ready to go out and play in the dirt...The crows or blackbirds were screaming...It just like a scene in the movie the "birds"... It creeped me out really bad...I couldnt see what they were yelling at.. I watched tv...Than got bored and went coleus shopping..lol The master gardener sale for the next county over is tommorow... @tiffany - lol, same here! Maybe Key West and a perfectly shaded porch so I don't have to run outside every few hours to move everyone around so they don't get sunburned :) I can dream, right ? And that link is very helpful! Right now I have a massive rainbow club moss just hanging out in there while I try to figure it what to do with her....(another "help me" post in the making). @karen - I can't tell you how much I appreciate your input. I fall in love and bring a plant home, spend a little time with it - then it drops a leaf or starts drooping and I get panicky as a new mother. And that's helpful about the alocasia because I think mine are moving toward that state. Should I leave them alone or prune later in the fall ? @jamila - you should totally get one! I hear they're easy care ;p
