Powder room advice appreciated!

Hi Houzz community:

WE are going to try to revamp the powder room in our rowhouse, and I could use your thoughts and expertise to figure out a) what type of sink / small vanity we should get, b) feedback on mirror shape, c) feedback on potential chandelier, and d) if anyone has paint color suggestions for the top?

I'm also wondering how to match metals. If a mirror has a brushed brass frame, does the light and faucet need to match? if we went with a darker oil rubbed bronze would it clash with the navy floor tile? Easier to just ditch brass?

The room is small, 25 square feet.

We are going to use this modern /geometric tile on the floor

This white subway tile will be on the 3 main walls going about 48 inches up

The ceiling is roughly 13 feet, so I was thinking of a chandelier instead of wall lighting. Do you think this will be sufficient, and will this give enough light? ALSO, which metal should I do, should I go for brass, or black?

SO, for the vanity / sink:

I don't need a full floor-mounted vanity. I'd like something either wall-mounted with a tiny bit of storage, or perhaps just a clean modern looking sink?

(is it a concern that kids will try to pull them down or hang on them?)

Here is a low angle pic of the room

Thank you in advance for any thoughts :-)

Gillian
