Water Creations Stainless Steel Sink vs Kraus
Comments (6)Like sjhockeyfan, I have a Kraus undermount sink, (KBU14) 30inch. I have had mine in since November 2013 and I'm very happy with it. It is indeed very quiet and the finish is nice. I especially like the stainless grid that comes with it. (a lot of sinks don't come with the grid, you have to buy it separately). The grid is heavy duty and saves wear and tear on sink bottom. My Mom has the Kraus KBU12 for 1.5 years and loves hers too. They are easy to maintain and the quality is very good for the price you pay. We both got ours from Amazon. The packaging that it comes shipped in is over -the -top protection, nice to see a company take the extra time and money to ship their product perfectly protected. We were both impressed. The Kraus was far superior to the sink we could have gotten through our quartz fabricator. Hope this helps you decide. :)...See MoreHelp me Choose between two Apron sinks. Kraus vs Ariel.
Comments (7)I hope it's not too late for my opinion. I just came across this post recently when I experienced the same problem. Both seems the same at first. Done a lot of search. Ariel has more selection and models zero radius and smaller round corners. If you want a deeper bowl and deeper apron front, it will be Ariel. Hope this helps!...See MoreFranke vs kraus
Comments (12)I don't know what your budget is, but if you have a bigger budget for a sink, you can have one custom made. That is what I did, because I had a difficult corner location so that every sink on the market was either a bit too big, or too small. Not only is my custom sink the exact size needed, but it is 14-gauge (heaven), and the drain is in the corner exactly where I want it. Once you have a corner drain, you can't go back haha. You can specify the depth you want (don't go too deep, or it is too far of a reach to the bottom for your arms; mine is 9" and I wouldn't go deeper than that), and also you can tell them the radius of the corners. I.e. perhaps not exactly 90 degrees, because of the difficulty of cleaning such sharp corners, but 100 or something like that (they can advise you). I will link the company that made my sink. Expect to pay $1600+ depending on your sink. It also is not the quickest; I think my turnaround was about 4-5 weeks. It was all done by phone and email. And now I have the perfect sized sink (for me) which is the most used item in my kitchen. http://www.handcraftedmetal.com/beta/custom_kitchen_sinks-stainless-kitchen_sinks.html...See MoreKraus vs Ruvati undermount Stainless Steel sink
Comments (9)We have installed Ruvati single-bowl kitchen sinks in the kitchens of our duplex; one unit is our home, plus a third one in a rental unit. I have never had a rust problem. I believe they're 18/10 stainless, which shouldn't ever rust. They are 16 gauge and well insulated. Love the sinks, but wish there was just a tiny bit more slope toward the drain, which might make them easier to keep clean. I am constantly sweeping debris from cooking and cleaning into the drain....See Moredrsaj
