does anyone have a pool/game room? Please post pics!
Comments (20)Another GREAT Room! I'm struggling with paint color and have test paint BM Kingsport Grey and a Brown HC19 that I'm not as fond of. I was in the egg and i last week and their yellow top and black beadboard was very nice and got me thinking that might be good downstairs. Not sure. I was able to upload some pics onto picasa web -- I'll try to upload. Please excuse dog beds....See MoreHas anyone used the Mont Blanc sink in Desert Sand?
Comments (2)Oh how pretty! Thank you for the picture. I was all set on the Blanco silgranite that looks like a D (I had my heart set on a rectangle sink) but then I found out I can only put the faucet to the side which is not something I want. I have a Victorian style bridge faucet. They do have a smaller sink that will fit but it's only 7.5 inches deep and since we have a small kitchen, small sink cab and only an 18 in DW, I feel the sink will be too small. I did order the HD Mont Blanc single bowl sink in desert sand and I absolutely love it but I worry about how well it will hold up (first) and second I'm not sure about the color sink (I was thinking white for my cottage style even though I couldn't make a farm sink work). Your granite is beautiful and the sink looks great. Thanks for taking the time to post and I'm glad you are so happy with it!...See MoreMont Blanc Quartzite or Marble? Anyone Have This Countertop?
Comments (8)I did not see the original posting, but neither photo looks like what is called Mont Blanc in my area. I purchased three slabs of Mont Blanc quartzite in Anaheim, southern California. This is a stone that is quarried in Brazil and looks similar to Perla Veneta. I had considered White Macaubus, which is more white, but decided I wanted to go with a warmer color. ....See MoreDoes anyone have actual experience with Mont quartz?
Comments (7)I agree that the local fabricator is the initial source of service. But in the event that they don’t meet expectations, the manufacturer may need to get involved. One can see this from the number of posts on Houzz where a customer needed to engage Cambria bc if an issue with a fabricator. I feel as confident as I can about the fabricator in my area who sells Mont (there’s only one). They have a good reputation with local designers, and their online reviews are almost all positive. But there are a few people who haven’t had a great experience (this is probably going to be true if any fabricator - it certainly is in my area). The company that is allowing the fabricator to sell their products should be willing to get involved if necessary. I actually have Cambria at another property and am having an issue that is 100% a fabrication issue, and the fabricator has not held up their end (this is a different fabricator than the one that carries Mont). I am close to having to call Cambria to ask for their help. So I’ve learned that the fabricator matters most, but I need the company whose name is on the product to be reputable as well. Especially since in this case, the fabricator is not a company that my designer has an account with, so she will not have influence to leverage in the event of an issue....See MoreMLK K
