Sending good, and sympathetic, thoughts to you. I had the same about 4 weeks ago. It’s no picnic as I had some bad infections according to the cultures. However I can breathe so much better. Just taking a while longer to get through it all than I expected.

Hope it's minor. Hope it HELPS! I had two of these and only got relief after the third, a major (2 hour) procedure.

All done! I am still very numb so will wait and see how things went.

I've had and would do it all over again. I feel so much better! I had bones shaved, pieces removed... major. And I would do it all over again. You're gonna be glad.

Don't know what your surgery entailed. DH had an operation for a deviated septum a few years back. Once the medication wore off, he was miserable and carried on for days about how he was worse than before the operation and was wishing he never had it. That phase passed and he is so very glad he had it done. I mention this just in case you experience a day or two of misery...hang in there. Ultimately, you will be glad you had the surgery.

Feeling pretty bad today, can’t blow my nose for two days. It’s just dripping. Horrible headache and extremely dry mouth from breathing through it. The meds she prescribed for pain give me headaches, so Tylenol it is!

I wonder if Italian ice cups would help with the dry mouth. Try to get some rest after you take the Tylenol. Try to take a nap.

Since you're there, what they told me was, the first five days are the hardest. They were right. Give it a couple of days, you'll be on the upswing.

Can you take Tylenol-3 (with codeine)?

I was hoping by now you would be feeling better, but I can't say I'm surprised. I know right now it's hard to believe, but there will come a time when you will be glad you did this.
