Please send some good thoughts my way
Comments (33)Thanks guys :) really appreciate the good thoughts. Actually Maggie, I'm in radio, and we do talk about it a little on the air, the guy I do the morning show with is a big animal lover, so we do a lot of dog and cat stories etc..What I really want to do is get with my primary vet, I haven't really talked to him since the initial rupture...I know that he is inclined to reccomend euthanasia for these type cancers :( as they are so aggressive. I just want to show him Bob, and offer my number to anyone contemplating what direction they want to go in. I have no regrets on what we did with Bob. He really suffered no ill effects to speak of from the treatment...His quality of life is excellent at the moment...I am also thinking about starting up a message board for this type of thing. I joined a cancer group on yahoo, but they were sooooo restrictive, and moderated everything, drove me nuts. Anyway I may have to look into that. Thanks again for all the well wishes, I can't tell you how grateful I am that he is doing so well, everyday when we go for our walks in the pasture, I see him galloping ahead of me:) I raise my head and say a little thank you :)....See MoreCan I have some good thoughts today?
Comments (41)Look at that handsome young man! Sorry I missed this yesterday. I'm glad he's doing so well. With his good looks that arm is going to be a chick magnet, don't you know. My son broke his arm when he was 10 or 11 or so. He didn't need surgery, luckily, but the day he got his cast off, he did a handspring. You guessed it, back into the cast with his arm re-broken. So, tell him no handsprings when he gets the cast off....See MoreMay I have some good thoughts, please?
Comments (22)Lots of prayers going up for Wally! Yea...if he has that external bag not many people will know except the ones he choses to tell. Wally will be back on that golf course in no time...bag or not bag!!! I have a couple friends with a colonestomy bag, no one but a chosen few know they have it. You could never tell. Comments (24)Hi everyone, I posted an update about the Giz-man. I did notice that it seemed to fall to the 2nd or 3rd page pretty quickly.....I guess this place has been busy lately!! He got a shot, some antibiotics to take home, and some kind of oral rinse, which he is not happy about. He goes in next Wed. for a complete dental, all his lab work looked great the vet said, except for elevated white blood cells. She did not rule out that it could still be cancer. So we will hope and pray for the best. I can tell he feels better, and he hasn't pawed at his mouth at all, also when I sneak a peek in, like when he yawns (ha ha ) it isn't red anymore, so maybe, just maybe, we are going to be o.k. Thanks so much guys!! Rita...See Moreterilyn
