Mom's in hospital again, but since she's close by, I got to bring her the best burger in Nashville. Yum! So I don't typically get to see her during the workday and never in town, double great! She'll get better or not. Life is messy. I hope for better and quickly.

SW PA beautiful day here also. 77, no rain, partly cloudy. Finally got to go out and do some yard work. The last 6 day dry spell was back in October 2017. This year we managed one 4 day spell. It is looking hopefully for the rest of the week being dry. Yea! !

Hot, sticky, raining or threatening to rain and storm every hour. But that meal sure sounds wonderful, Sue.

It's a pleasant 89 degrees with a light breeze blowing.

I am hoping that today is the day I finish up the never ending painting project! Yesterday I painted the hallway and today I am doing touch-up. I still have to paint the laundry room and the vestibule along with the area around the stairway, but that will have to wait until we get back from vacation in September.

When I am done with the touch-up, I am going to finish cleaning and organizing the pantry and then I will make pork dumpings/pot stickers. My dear hubby prepared all of the ingredients for me, so all I have to do is put them together and cook.

My weather has been about the same as Sue's, here in my part of Ohio. So glad to have sunny and dry. I feel like you functionthenlook. Sue's food always sounds so good.

Another SW PA resident here. Yes, a lovely day. A light breeze, 76 degrees and wall to wall sunshine. We have today and, maybe 5, more in the forecast as rain free. Whoopie! DH is mowing the grass where possible without getting stuck in the mud. Tomorrow he has a stress test so who knows when he will get to the rest of it.

Sue that is my favorite meal from the garden in summer. Green beans, onions, potatoes, and either sausage or ham. Add biscuits or crusty bread and I am in food heaven!

Beautiful day where I live too. Temps in the mid 70's and very low humidity. I woke up this morning feeling chilly which was wonderful after that terrible heat wave. My cousins and I drove out to county along the shore and we stopped at Oxley Winery for lunch. We then continued driving around the county and stopped at fruit and vegetable stands where I bought a basket of new potatoes, basket of yellow beans, a large broccoli, basket of local peaches, mini cukes and cherry tomatoes and a jar of local honey. I was going to stop for local corn but maybe next week since I already had enough vegetables to eat. We also stopped at a bakery and bought some rolls and bread and a birthday cake. We have been home for less than a half hour and now it is storming.

Coolish morning, it's warmed up. Hummingbirds are swarming. Dh took the day off & we went hiking. We hauled in a load of red rocks, extending our rock wall. I made nachos for lunch & dirty rice for dinner.

Rob, sorry to hear about your mom.

Poured a good part of the day, but then again, we really needed the rain. So I guess it's all perspective.

Glorious day here in central OK. Like most of the rest of the US, we've been in a horrible heat bubble. But today was just perfect!

I was able to pull some weeds, water the flower beds & brown spots in the yard with out feeling like I was going to melt. LOL

According to the weather man, we're going to start moving up in temps by the weekend. So for now I will enjoy this brief respite!

Rob, hope your mom is better soon!

The day started out really nice, cool, and overcast. The clouds cleared up and now it's hot again. I'll take a half-nice day!

I was so hoping for a not so nice day. There was a 90% chance to get rain. In the afternoon there were just 30% left. Instead of the inch predicted, I got nothing. I really need it. Back to dragging the water hose around tomorrow.

It was a very beautiful day in my neighborhood. Cleaned up some storm damage. Looking forward to relaxing tomorrow......well, maybe pull a few weeds. ; )

Not a pretty day but nice just the same. Cloudy all day. The temperature stayed in the 70's, a nice relief from the 100's we had over the weekend. Looking froward to sunny and low 80's tomorrow. It will be a good day to prune bushes.

It's really ok Nicole. Life is life and we enjoyed our burgers.

We got a cold front! In the 80’s today but lower humidity. Our weather people are going nuts!
