Whats on Your Want List???
Comments (111)Thats a great idea Kylie, and thanks for the bump. I'm still making my way thru this thread (I know, I know - I'm slow) offering up what I have left, so don't give up hope on getting some of those wishes or maybe an unexpected surprise from someone. But gosh, theres no way to top those SSanta boxes. Un-be-lievable! I have had the most fun reading those threads and actually got some great ideas for Christmas gifts. And those of you just beginning to cut back your bruggies, if you have something to share, make someone's day by trying to fullfil a wish or two. Its sort of like the "Give a Kid a Coat" campaign, except it's more like "Give a Pal a Cutting" or "Give an Addict a Fix" LOL. So everybody update your wish list or post again and Kylie I've noticed, you haven't posted any of your wishes....See MoreUpdate on Earth Angel rose
Comments (182)I have 4 in large 20 gallon pots that i bought this spring. They didn’t get a huge number of blooms before the heat of zone 9b Houston weather really set in June. But what was worse was their damage which made leaves and buds tiny. I finally found Spinosad spray for the thrips and it has bounced back this fall and is going to have another flush of blooms. I’m going to leave mine in pots another year at least because I’m not sure of the right spot. They can’t take full south Texas sun for sure....See MoreVoluptuous, perfumed and procumbent.
Comments (79)Thank-you for those extra photos Tiffandrew. Strawberry Hill looks good too. I am looking forward to growing it up a pomegranate tree with Spirit of Freedom. I find that the older I get, the more roses I need. There is a philosophical debate for you! hutchae, the rose on the wall was bought as Felicia, but it is not that rose. I believe it is Cornelia. It blooms a lot in the spring and early summer and again in the autumn. It also has a few blooms during the summer. It does have a lovely perfume. I will look to see if I have more photos of it. The purple flower in front is one of the Verbena x hybrida. They come in a variety of colours and are very useful in pots and at the front of beds. Daisy...See MoreTime to share your Pink Roses
